Re: Mike Wang tweets about 2K20
first off. that isnt mycareer. second, ive rarely seen that happen in a mycareer game, (park rec or proam). i def havent seen guys coming down making those shots consistently enough to win.
if someone hit ONE jumper like that and you lost a game, you need to look at the other possessions my guy.

@ksuttonjr76
theres probably 1 video that substantiates your claim. and even then its like one shot from each game shown. which was exactly my point.
the rate at which it happens is not consistent enough to win a game.
also, ive played around 2500 online games across the various mycareer online game types (park rec proam), not the most, but certainly enough to have an opinion..and i havent had an experience where a dude is hitting impossible shots at a rate significant enough to impact winning in at an unfair level.
also with that said, greens should be harder as i keep stating is my op.

Even the worst, most smothered shot should have at least a tiny chance of going on,not enough to be consistent but enough to allow a very rare fluke make.
Conversely, even the most wide open green release shot should have at least a tiny chance of rimming out, again not consistently but enough to allow a very rare fluke miss.Comment

Re: Mike Wang tweets about 2K20
I think the issue that keeps on coming up is simply that what constitutes a good shot in 2k is just out of scale with the real NBA.
2k in order to allow players like Steph Curry to play how they do, opened up a minefield of deep shooting expectancy.
You either make those shots still bad shots no matter what the badge combo, but with the badge combo giving you a *chance* at making them, as in 25% odds, and locking greens out from certain ranges.
Or, you do what 2k do and keep making more badges to counter the ridiculous badges that allow people to expect to score in traffic 99% of the time coz of posterizer.
also Mike Wang should 100% lock out greens from anything from 65% contested because there is no way that would ever be a guaranteed make in real life. Guaranteed makes could only exist with no variables around them.Comment

Re: Mike Wang tweets about 2K20
Correction....
Y'all just want people to score despite good defense.
Some people do know how to play defense, but it's a shame when we don't get rewarded for a well-timed steal attempted, because the hand goes through the ball. It's a shame when we don't get rewarded for a block, because the ball just falls right back into the offensive player's hands. It's a shame when we don't get rewarded for a poked ball, because the ball just ends up with the offensive team 90% of the time. It's a shame when don't get rewarded for forcing a player into a bad shot attempt with smothered contest, because they got rewarded with a green release and who knows how many badges were activated at the time.
Sounds like you just need to figure out how to play better defense. Maybe change your analog to camera relative instead of fixed. That makes a huge difference in shot contest.
Kiddo, just learn the game. Maybe you need to put some extra shots up in the gym or watch some videos on tips on how to become a better 2k player.

Re: Mike Wang tweets about 2K20
One week? Please provide context.
I don't think it takes one week to learn how to play 2k though. I've seen his name in these forums before so I believe he will be fine.
No need to be rude though bro. I'm sure he is a fast learnerComment

Grandbadge I really just wanna know one thing, whether it's in a park, a gym, an arena, a barn, wherever, regardless of defense, lack of defense, shot selection, git gud or whatever you wanna factor in, is shooting over 80% from 3 over 50 games, 100 games, 200 games acceptable to you?Last edited by Mikelopedia; 08-17-2019, 06:12 PM.Die hard Heat and Dolphins fan since '89

Re: Mike Wang tweets about 2K20
Why I don't have these problems like you? 99% of the time, when I call rebound based off a bad shot attempt, I'm usually correct and that's because of good defense.

Re: Mike Wang tweets about 2K20
Try to read what I said one more time my dude. Im not talking about one game.
Regardless of whatever excuse you wanna say, I dont care if you're playing against Ace Ventura, Madea, and 3 of the kids from Stranger Things, over 100 games, is it acceptable to you to shoot 86% from 3.Die hard Heat and Dolphins fan since '89
