Re: Official 2k20 MyPlayer Build Thread.
im thinking make a blue-red pie chart center(slashing-def) but im worried that he will be useless like in 2k19 because of 0 shooting.is anyone here make non-shooting center in 2k19 and still be satisfied in proam-rec games ?Comment

Re: Official 2k20 MyPlayer Build Thread.
On another note the dribbling in 2k20 seems more unresponsive than it was in 2k18 and that's a huge problem. Beluba has acknowledged the game needing a patch to fix certain issues with dribbling. They should've just left it like it was in 2k19 but added more sig styles and such. 2k18 dribbling was atrocious. Hope we don't have a repeat in 2k20 or it's gonna be a long year.Comment

Re: Official 2k20 MyPlayer Build Thread.
What are the new/revised badges that you found more/less useful so far?
I upvote:
- consistent finisher (very useful as layup timing differs across animations),
- flashy passer (finally the gave it a purpose beside aestethics),
- backdown punisher (I love bully ball, so I love this badge),
- downhill (I like the concept, not sure about actual effect yet) and quick 1st step (a fan favourite I guess)
I downvote:
- fake pass maestro (I tried it gold and did nothing against AI... imagine online...),
- intimidator (the description is misleading, for me it worked only with shots around the rim, not very useful if you are a guard/wing),
- lighting reflexes (tried gold or HOF once and really didn't understand what it was supposed to do)
Uncertain because I couldn't test them consistently during the demo:
- pro touch (not clear how it interacts with consistent finisher, once they activated togheter !!),
- slithery finisher (not clear how it interacts with contact finisher and fancy footwork, and what it does (unique animations? attributes boosting)),
- fancy footowrk (see slitery finisher),
- needle threader (I understood it just boosts the passing rating, but to what extent? seems a step back from P&R maestro)Comment

As a playmaker, I LOVED needle threader with dimer. Last year in 19, passes in traffic were always intercepted. HOF needle threader worked wonders for me in the demo. Felt like I got passes into very tight windows.Comment

Thinking about making a Ben Wallace type of build. Going to test it out when I get home later.Comment

Flashy Passer: I haven't tried it yet. What's so special about it that would make want to equip it? I basically never threw a fancy pass in 19 because there was never a real need for it.
Fake Pass Maestro: I didn't notice a ton of effect in my demo games; I was kinda using it more to as a set up before I tried to explode past my man out of the triple threat. Seemed to work but Quick First Step is so OP in the demo that it's hard to tell if it really had an effect or not.
Slithery Finisher: This badge theoretically negates the need for Contact Finisher. Slithery Finisher basically allows you to finish at the rim without getting contact animations. FWIW, I think Beluba highly recommended this one.
Fancy Footwork: This impacts how easily you get past your man when doing euro-steps, spin gathers, etc. If you don't have it equipped, the defender is more likely to stay in front of you and force a super awkward finish at the rim, whereas with it equipped, you're more likely to get past them and have an easy finish. I tried a few builds with and without this one and it seemed to make a pretty big impact to me.
Needle Threader: I didn't use this one all that much, but it seemed to me that it unlocks some different passing animations. I was using it on a PF and at one point got this really nice wrap-around pass animation that whizzed right past another defender's head to my teammate for a dunk.
Lightning Reflexes: This one is supposed to bring up those arrow indicators on defense quicker than it would otherwise. Doesn't really seem necessary to me unless you don't really know what you're doing defensively.
The main badges that I recommend so far would be Range Extender, Difficult Shots, and Flexible Release. I've gotten Range Extender to activate on shots from the free throw line. Difficult Shots activates on damn near every shot it seems; basically anything where you're not coming to a complete stop before shooting. If you come running around a screen, catch the pass, and immediately shoot, you get Difficult Shots. And re: Flexible Release, I tend to get slightly early or slightly late a lot and this basically fixes that. My plan is to put Flexible Release and Quick Draw on silver and that seems to be sufficient for me.NFL: Bills

Re: Official 2k20 MyPlayer Build Thread.
I've decided on my guard build 6'5 PG - pure playmaker pie chart (comparisons of Westbrook, Rose and Lillard)
I'm looking for suggestions on if I'm playing the 3 (the BIG) in park.
I was thinking of making a Robert Covington type of build - Defense/Shooting split pie chart at either SF, PF or C
My teammates will be making a PG (Curry comparison, shooting/playmaking or pure shooting pie chart) and a SG (Kobe Comparison, shooting/slashing pie chart)
Has anyone created any efficient 3 and D builds? I was thinking SF for the versatile interior/perimeter defense so that I could match up against either wings or bigs.
I'd be more a role player on offense in this scenario - letting the "Curry" or "Kobe" builds iso, run their scheme and I could either pick and pop/roll or spread the floor by being a 3pt threat.Comment

Re: Official 2k20 MyPlayer Build Thread.
if you have two scoring guards, feels like you would be better served going with a glass cleaner PF or C. Set screens/cut and clean up their misses. Defense should be adequate enough if you have size and good positioning and everyone in 2k can shoot.PSN: PrettyToneyComment

Re: Official 2k20 MyPlayer Build Thread.
I'm considering a glass cleaner, but I was looking to be able to stretch the floor as those 2 guys prefer iso's over screens - they don't utilize them efficiently/correctly anyway. (my little brother and his best friend)Comment
