thanks for the tip, i made him sg and i got ~4 total badges more
well i'm 6`7 and listed as a SG/PG, originally i wanted to be a SF/SG but the badges made my decision easy

sad, that they nerfed SFs so much

Anyone who is going to be guarding ball handlers, get Lightning Reflexes, it drastically increases your ability to change direction rapidly.

I'll give it a try.
I have dual defensive wing and I'm nut sure which defensive badge equip other than clamps and intimidator (decided to not go for steals so no pick and interceptor).
Lighting can be an option.

how many badges do you have left?

you could bronze as many as you can with what you have left.

Iirc I got 15 points

4 for intimidator HOF
3 for clamps gold
At least one for rebound chaser/chasedown/pick dodger each

Makes 5 point left for having some of the above silver/gold or others bronze

yeah you're right, but SF is a state of mind.

I tried SG but I feel there is something wrong lol

So probably I would go with a 6'7 and a half (metric system here) SF, despite fewer badges

I didn't put anything on steals (attributes and badges) cause I'm not good at them (timing) and I don't enjoy spamming the button.

It's an unpopoular decision for a defender, I know

I tried trapper on HOF tough, but I got too many teamgrade penalties for leaving assignement and defensive breadown, at least versus the CPU.
Maybe I will try it online

Is anybody else not able to equip certain HOF badges on their players? I have a 6'5 Mid Range Playmaker with maxed shooting but can't equip any offensive badges higher than gold. On the other hand the Center on our squad is able to HOF badges and his shooting ratings are lower than mine. I just need HOF quickdraw. Gold Quickdraw is just too slow for my liking :/.

btw off ball pest looks like an intresting badge as well.
havent tried it myself though.

I couldn't in my tests, and it's one of the reasons I would likely go SF despite the nerf.

Not really . But I didn’t upgrade it either . I get some sneaky boards because of vert but that’s about it.

It depends on the pie chart that you chose. You can only HOF the badges related to the parts of the pie chart that you emphasized, so if you picked one of the shooting pies, you get HOF shooting badges, playmaking pie gets you HOF playmaking badges, etc.

I'd guess your center used a shooting pie, but since he's a center, his ratings are lower but he still qualifies. That's the case with my 3nD PF; maxes out at like 74 3 point shooting but I get HOF shooting badges.

Word that makes sense. I choose the playmaking heavy pie for my first player. Thanks for the info!
