The last two games, 2K has released Player Likeness updates in December. It won’t surprise me if they do so again, so I’m not holding my breath for player likeness updates until December.

The days of constant updates for players seem long gone, and, yes, they used to have things like Ben Wallace's hair changes as mentioned above.
The simple reality is that all those updates and stuff created no extra revenue. A ton of goodwill back then, but no money.
I was naive enough to listen to producers who used to say things "the online era will mean if a player changes something big, we will have it the same in the game within days!".
Instead the online era has just brought with it constant huge updates to fix online issues, with the sole focus on lootboxes and $$$ revenue.
I would not hold your breath expecting a huge art update. There will be a few players, jerseys and maybe a court or two as per normal. But that will be it.Comment

To remedy this they need to just figure out a way to allow you edit players hairstyles at least when players cut their hair. It is kind of unrealistic to expect 2k keep up with how often some of players change their hair.Comment

Still so dumb we can't put headbands on players. We can do the glitch on some players but on a lot of players it doesn't work. I want a headband for Kyrie and Aaron Gordon so bad. [emoji58]
