I also Lower Fast-breaks in sim silders on my league. You still get them at a little higher rate than I like, but it’s better with last update and o saw another update today. Seriously: Everyone who is complaining about dribbling and shooting should be forced to play with the Blazers for a few games. I think I never had as much fun with a team then with these guys.
Pullups, off-ball screens, stepbacks. Everything is so smooth and especially Dame is hitting basically everything.
One day in a MyLeague game he started kinda cold. I just kept playing and not forcing anything with him and at the end of the third I realized he just scored 27 points in the 3rd alone. It's the smoothest this game could be.Comment

Had that same type of game with Trae Young too. Don't force it, let others get involved and by the end of the game, I nearly had a 20 pt double double with Young. And that's only playing 6 minutes a quarter.
I do like the different play styles and athletic types. Guys like Lillard and Young feel totally different than a guy like Westbrook. I don't notice it AS much with bigs, but it's still sort of there. But with the smaller players, you can notice who is the athletic freak and who is the more smooth/skill player.Too Old To Game Club

You can really notice the defensive attributes. Reggie Jackson on the Pistons can’t guard people (most of their wings are like that). Some guys and teams I play you can beat the guys off the dribble fairly easily. Then you play against a good defensive player like Lonzo Ball or Butler or anyone with the Clamps badge and it’s a completely different story. Far more differentiation in that regard compared to last year.Comment

This is one of my favorite things about the game this year. Ratings actually matter for once. In previous 2K games, ratings made only a slight difference on defense and it didn't matter who guarded whom for the most part (I could even get away with guarding bigs with point guards in the post most of the time if I timed my shot contests right!), now you really have to pay attention to those matchups. It gives you a real incentive to use manual substitutions and change defensive matchups, which used to be completely optional.Comment

First impressions:
Using the Pistons exclusively I'm able to get into the paint pretty easily with a variety of players. On the other hand I'm struggling to find open 3s.
In transition, as in years past, my guys run slower without the ball than the CPU with the ball. Legacy issue that you would think they would fix.
Game feels good. Movement is solid on both offense and defense. Going to have to really work on my defensive settings. I've just been playing on defaults for everything and on Pick and Rolls the defense leaves a lot to be desired. Even when it is obvious i'm getting over the pick easily with my guard, the big will switch off.
Might be a blip but I set up a rotation for auto sub and the AI didn't really follow it. I had Reggie Jackson subbing out for Rose after 6 minutes and as soon as a whistle blew at the 2:45 mark, Rose was in. Jackson ended up only playing 9 first half minutes when he was set to play 16. Had some other issues with the rotations shorting some guys minutes and playing others far more than I assigned.Comment

When gameplay is on point, it enriches the experience as a whole.
I have that 2K16 feeling where I'm kind of just mode hopping, enjoying different parts of the game.
I wish the launch wasnt so rocky, the devs should really be getting credit for the work they put in...Comment

That's an understatement. Everyone is like it's just one extra button press but it's not. And the favorite play thing is seriously lacking. They make it seems like people don't call more plays.

It’s not that bad. I can call without looking. It took a while, but I play 3-4 games a day to get used to it
