What is wrong? For the most part my numbers are pretty good. I’ve had games with only a handful and some with double digits on 6 minute quarters. Overall I think the offensive rebound percentage is around 25% which is normal I believe.

It feels scripted. Especially when I see the offensive player pointing or a wing flying in out of nowhere through traffic. I have yet to see the defense get a rebound when the offensive player points.

That's why these days i just wait till a good roster comes out and after that I try not to worry about it too much. I've been playing with a slider set that i replicates the NBA game pretty well as to what should be happening on the court. But the end of the game numbers aren't right... And that's ok. 2K doesn't have all the systems in place to replicate realistic foul, unforced turnovers, and true game to game player rhythm/consistency.
Honestly I'm having more fun with 2K than I've had in years and it all started with me remembering that at the end of the day... It's just a video game.

Agreed, other than the stuttering issue that I’ve found a temporary fix for and with some slider adjustments I’m loving this game...... has the potential to be my fav 2k ever and I’m a huge fan of 2k basketball

I won't do that, don't know about the others. I praised 2k19 in comparison to 2k18.
We'll see, but that input delay, plus moving in the mud, feels like I am controlling sumo fighters instead of basketball players, I'll try to adjust with some sliders work.Comment

What are you guys seeing as far as the AI double-teaming in the post, especially against mismatches? I feel like they let me go one-on-one against a much smaller player or with a great post scorer (or both) too often.
Also, @mods: Would it be okay to start a Patch Request thread? I figured it'd be good to get everything that we'd like to see fixed, and put it all in one place. Thanks.Comment

Yeah also 15 years ago if a team shot 35-40 threes people would be losing their heads. 2K is trying to replicate the NBA... Not the other way around. These guys are out here trying to win. If a team could find a set that resulted in a basket 80 percent of the time, then that's what they'll do and not lose a night of sleep over it.
