What 2k did to MyGm is the most pathetic thing they’ve ever done. The one mode where offline players could enjoy, and you guys turned it into some leaderboard junk ? You guys don’t listen to fans. Last year I rented 2k19 from Redbox and decided it was DECENT. 2k20 I rented as well, I have determined that this game is a joke. ML is not fun for MyGm players and MyGm 2.0 took 20 steps backwards from what WE, THE MYGM players wanted. We’ve been begging for the ability to watch CPU vs CPU games...nope ignore us there. 2k alienated a large portion of their consumers. Including me. I will not be spending money on 2K ever again until they stop stealing from the players with VC & gambling, fix the servers and actually create a great MYGM. This game has become nothing more than a cash grab. The numbers will show that you can’t disrespect a whole section of your community and be successful. I’m sorry to my fellow MYGM players, seems there is no game for us anymore. My expectations were low and 2k still managed to limbo beneath said expectations. I am done

This game will be a gem if the developers significantly reduce the CPU double teams (or just remove them)

The AI has advanced to the point where the CPU does not need that crutch.

I've been hearing almost this exact sentiment from a lot of people, and it's giving me hope in the first year I didn't buy on day one. Mostly because the defensive AI was highly exploitable.

Hopefully the double-team issue can/will be patched soon.

This is sounding like a first day buy? I didn't love 2k19. How is it on ps4? I just expected a roster update. But sounds like a different game.

I only played for 5 minutes this morning. I think 23 said it in his thread. Don't watch any videos. Pick up the game and play. Definitely different. And I only played a little.

Not seeing it as bad on double, but 30 team GM and destiny defense has help, but not everyone will do that

Give yourself time to get used to the movement. There have been some fundamental changes from what we're accustomed to. Even from the demo.

I probably rushed into PNO and was admittedly a shell shocked trying to defend. It didnt help I was playing a Pelicans user who was ooping out of the gate. Definitely getting the hang of it now.

Playing throughout the day I have a pretty good feel for the game and it's a lot of fun. My concerns echo many others as far as the unrealistic double teaming. Other than that, it play's a solid game of bball right out of the box. I'm impressed.

The contact layups definitely go in too frequently on SS/HOF. Overall %'s seem fair, I dont think a team has shot over 50% on me but they have definitely got some cheap ones around the rim...

Passing is hit or miss for me.

Some have this "load up" time which reminds me of Lives passing...not a fan. They have added a lot of great contextual passes though that look great.

Just played with the Hawks online BTW. They are tough!

Brain dead double teams and they move like zombies when they are in double team scheme, this is sad. There is no rhyme or reason as to why they are double teaming they come from anywhere on the court. He'll all it takes is to make 2 shots and they are The Walking Dead.

Could you elaborate on this? One of my pet peeves was the lack of fouls and FTA across the board in MyLeague. The league-leader in ML would typically only average 6-7 FTA

The fouls are much better but still need some work, for example giannis's FTA are perfect, he averaged 10.5 per 36 in my first simulation which is exactly what he averaged IRL.

However, tendencies also have an impact so their formula still needs tweaking to be accurate to get the rest of the league up to par because 2k increases the foul % drastically it appears for shots taken inside the restricted area, so other players like harden who has 99 draw foul rating is still only averaging like 6FTA per 36.

May be able to fix it some by correcting the shot distribution tendencies if they're off, but prob wont be able to get him to giannis's level of attempts.

Its currently stopping me from starting mycareer. It is soooo annoying getting perma double teamed after two buckets...
