Cpu not calling time outs when way behind ...
Uh oh cpu still barely calls timeouts. First quarter I’m up 22 to 3 and they never called a timeout in the quarter. They eventually called one time out in the 2nd, one in the 3rd and one in the 4th. This has been an ongoing issue... a bad one. I remember both 18 and 19 being like this and really want ever truly resolved...Last edited by GisherJohn24; 09-07-2019, 05:44 PM.Tags: None -

So, the fact that the cpu never called one in the first and only called 3 all game is actually not very good.

I believe you get 7 per game now. And, though it's not in 2k, in the NBA there are actually 2 mandatory timeouts per quarter. If nobody has taken a timeout at 6:59 left in the quarter, it is automatically taken and charged to the home team at the next dead ball, and if a second one hasn't been called by somebody at 2:59, it's charged to the team who hasn't been charged one yet.

This was am issue I'm '18, improved in '19, and definitely not an issue now. There are a ton of timeouts called.
May be something in your settings at this point.Comment

Yep, this has been broke for a few yrs now, not sure why the devs cant get this right. They used to do a good job on timeout logic, so Im not sure whats changed, to where they cant or wont fix it.Everyone who exalts themselves will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted- Luke14-11

Re: Cpu not calling time outs when way behind ...
I think it should be based on coaching.
2K needs to add a setting for coaches because not all of them call timeouts in different situations.
I played a few games yesterday with everything on auto and both CPUs called timeouts.
For my team the CPU called it after a 4-0 run possibly because there was no dead ball for more than 2 minutes for subs.
One was after I went on a 6-0 run and immediately after I got a steal and dunk.Last edited by keshunleon; 09-08-2019, 11:40 AM.True bout my business, Mane!Comment

Yea I see the CPU take a ton of timeouts. I think they've ran out the last few games I've played actually."Baseball is the coolest sport because, at any moment, the catcher can stop the game and go tell the pitcher a secret" - Rob FeeComment

Could it be my settings, but I don't know what setting would cause that.Comment

it is automatically taken and Nox Vidmate VLC charged to the home team at the next dead ball .Last edited by hailekhysen; 10-05-2019, 02:31 AM.Comment
