New shooting update

Why don’t guys play real shooting % and not have to deal with the unrealistic shot release bar stuff? I mean if I’m looking to play sim basketball I’m not using arcade shooting systems, maybe that’s just me though

Timing a shot isnt skillful, sorry. It absolutely does not warrant an auto-make. They need a sim mode without auto-greens and such.

Greens should maximize your rating in order to give you the best chance to get a bucket, but should not guarantee anything. This is stupid and isn't basketball. Expecting to shoot 70% says it all, it is just far too high.

The shooting penalty system is actually just broken. Not sure if they're aware. My friends and I noticed a bunch of very early/late releases going in. I went to freestyle to test, shot 100 shots with Geogrge Hill with a slightly early release made 40/100. Shot 100 shots with a Very early release, he made 43/100. The shooting is broken right now.

I just really am annoyed by this. I was in a great game. And we were going back and forth talking the lead by one each time. It became a green for green contest. Everytime he green a jumper. It was so freaking annoying to know watching the feel of a close game go down.

Odd sentiment. I could argue that playing against easily abusable A.I. is actually less realistic than an adaptable human being who isn’t just following an algorithm. In any case, online play can still be made more realistic by having realistic outcomes during interactions between players. It’s literally no different than 2K adjusting the sliders like you would in your Uber realistic offline world.

I don't play park or online at all right now. I'm beating the CPU easily on HOF. There best players can't make a shot. Even great players are barely a threat. Something has to be done about shooting for the CPU on HOF. Sure it would be nice If I made open shots more constantly.

Yeah all of a sudden on hof offline the jumpers are harder to make now out the box the games feel realistic I changed the sliders and the 3pt percentages are under 30 when it was out the box 30-40% easy I tried it on rp% and shot timing if it's not green it's off I wish they would change it back
