Odd sentiment. I could argue that playing against easily abusable A.I. is actually less realistic than an adaptable human being who isn’t just following an algorithm. In any case, online play can still be made more realistic by having realistic outcomes during interactions between players. It’s literally no different than 2K adjusting the sliders like you would in your Uber realistic offline world.

Humans trying to take advantage of the game is exactly what happens in real life with coaches. Running plays to exploit the players/schemes the other team is using. No I don’t “obviously” like arcade stuff. I prefer playing against humans because it’s more varied and unique than the A.I. Frankly, your stance is incredibly close-minded. There are plenty of online players who want a more sim-like balanced experience while playing against other players. You thinking that can only be achieved by playing against the computer is comical.

Yeah all of a sudden on hof offline the jumpers are harder to make now out the box the games feel realistic I changed the sliders and the 3pt percentages are under 30 when it was out the box 30-40% easy I tried it on rp% and shot timing if it's not green it's off I wish they would change it back

I am having the exact opposite experience. Shooting is way easier then day 1. The CPU on HOF is greening 3s left and right. Houston hit 20 3s vs me in a game. Lebron just hit 5 threes on me in 1 half. Rondo also was raining down 3s, even off the dribble.

Ya there’s plenty of online guys who want sim basketball.......go tell that to Czar and Mike in which 1 has deleted twitter and went off the grid because of the utter insanity that the online community created because the game wasn’t set up to their arcade style they wanted....... the online community in 2k is for the most part toxic and ridiculous.......but to each their own, continue on with your Uber realistic online experience [emoji23] [emoji849] 🤦🏻*♂️

You’re judging an entire playerbase by the most vocal which is never a wise practice. Most of the flak Mike was catching on Twitter was due to game breaking bugs on release which was captured by reviews from many different entities including OS itself. I read more threads on here from online players who want improved realism, balance and mechanics than ones asking for more greenies or ankle breaks.

I can agree with you on this BUT....we're not talking about "online" not being realistic but we're talking about WHO YOU'RE PLAYING AGAINST ONLINE that can make it a bit arcadish. If you can link up with like-minded people online that want a true basketball experience and the play the game the right way then of course online can be amazing!! But most times online is filled with a bunch of kids that just want to have fun and their idea of fun and my idea of fun is totally different from their idea of fun.

Agreed...IF you get matched up against a like-minded person. For instance, I am subscribed to your channel and I see alot of similarities in our playstyles so we would have a great game against each other regardless of the score because we play the right way. Playing online against a 9 year old would not be realistic at all because it would be 75 3pt attempts with Steph Curry lol...so it's 2 sides to that coin.

Exactly Koosa, 2 guys with the mindset of u and Rob linking online is extremely rare, most of the time you’ll be playing kids who could care less about sim or realism

You aint lied. I realize that my girl and even my lil bro (plays AAU) only seem interested in the game when a lot of arcade nonsense is happening, when the game is running like an actual simulation then casuals lose interest very fast.
And these people take up the vast majority of the community these days.

The worst part is that 2K used to have arcade servers and sim servers separate, they've literally gone backwards in these components.

Looks like you dont even have to set your feet anymore when shooting. Not surprised cause people were complaining that it took too long and they would often shoot leaners they'd miss.

well now you can shoot those leaners and they will drop.
