Re: 2K20 Trade Thread
In my Lakers My league just like in real life the team is in desperate need for a playmaking PG to take away some of they responsibility from LBJ. I want to offload KCP, Rondo, Daniels and maybe even Kuzma for the right deal. What starting PGs do you think I should go after? I have my eye on Schroeder from OKC but don't think I can get the salaries to match up. Also Dinwidee from the Nets.

Re: 2K20 Trade Thread
I am running an expansion team and very quickly I realized that Kevin Love doesn't fit with how I play. Just an awkward fit with the team overall. I'd rather run with Marcus Morris and Taurean Prince at the 4.
So I'm thinking how can I trade Love's contract? The most likely destination seems Portland. With no Nurkic and no Collins they are woefully thin inside. I can absorb any salary. I'm thinking Bazemore and spare parts? Do you think I would have to spice it up with a draft pick? How desperate is Portland going to be?
Or is there someone else anyone thinks could be a landing spot for Love. I'm only two games in and using real injuries to start the season (so anyone who was injured as of 4 days ago was injured but Hayward, for example is not since his occurred after my season started).Comment

Re: 2K20 Trade Thread
I think Orlando has enough guys who can't shoot threes already and it gets worse taking Fournier away. I don't think Orlando would want this trade. DeRozan is not going to turn Orlando into a championship contender so why commit that kind of money? either you lose him after this season, basically giving Bomba away for nothing or he takes his play option and you are on the hook for another highly paid seasonComment

The Orlando Magic have reportedly "expressed interest" in a trade for San Antonio Spurs shooting guard DeMar DeRozan as they attempt to bolster their last-ranked offense.

The most realistic option I can think of is probably Otto Porter Jr. I was also thinking about Gary Harris, but I'm not sure if the Mavs have anything that the Nuggets would want for him.Comment

Doing a start in offseason for the Clippers and was thinking of doing a trade with the Pacers centered around Gallinari and Sabonis. Do you guys think this would be a fair trade?

Playing as the Sixers the fit is weird in 2K just like in real life and looking to move Tobias Harris as soon as the move is available to make.
Desperately need shooters and a backup PG who can shoot any ideas would be helpful thanks not looking for stars just some guys that could fit around Simmons and Embiid.NBA:Philadelphia 76ers

Re: 2K20 Trade Thread
I've made three trades so far and I'm in the playoffs of my second season.
In the first season I only made one trade. I traded away Marvin Williams for Kelly Oubre Jr. which I thought was a no brainer. And since Williams was in the final year of his contract I was able to pick him back up during the following offseason so I basically got Oubre for nothing.
Second season I made two trades. First trade was I traded Eric Bledsoe and Boban Marjanovic for Dejounte Murray and Gorgui Dieng. This trade didn't work out so well. I got a younger and still defensively minded PG in Murray but by giving up Bledsoe I lost some of my outside shooting ability which my team was lacking in anyway. Also Marjanovic to Dieng is a downgrade if you ask me.
After realzing that trade made my team worse than before and we weren't really doing great anyway, I made another trade. I traded Kelly Oubre Jr. and Marvin Williams (again) for Andre Roberson and Jae Crowder. I really needed another quality SG as I really only had Hardaway Jr and Eric Gordon and Gordon is getting older and it really helped my team defensively. We actually ended up winning about 12 of the last 16 games because of this trade and was able to squeeze into the playoffs.NCAA: Kentucky Wildcats

Re: 2K20 Trade Thread
I like that trade for Sac. Bogdonovic is on an expiring and they get a defensive monster in Thybulle, a serviceable player in Scott and a late round 1st. Not a bad haul if they don't plan on resigning or him or can't afford to do it (I haven't looked deep enough into it to know if they are angling to bring him back or not)Comment

Re: 2K20 Trade Thread
I've restarted with the Trail Blazers after the Melo news using the "start today" feature.
Now with the news that Gasol is likely going to retire and Whiteside being awful again I feel like they really have a few moves to make. I've put together a few ideas and maybe some of you have ideas for it.
Magic receive
Trent Jr.
2nd rounder
Blazers receive
Khem Birch
Start with the soft one. Birch was actually great last year when he played, but this year he fell out of the rotation completely. I still like his game and I feel he would be a great addition to the squad as long as Nurk is out.
Grizzlies receive
Bazemore
two 2nd round picks
Blazers receive
Iguodala
That one is tough with every real contender wanting his service. But who would actually give something up for him when they know he won't play there and likely gets cut anyway? What are other deals for Iggy that you did, for the Lakers or Clippers for example?
Knicks receive
1st Top 10 protected
Hassan Whiteside
Blazers receive
Taj Gibson
Marcus Morris
Can't figure it out exactly with all these Knicks forwards, but they seem to be a logical trade partner for the Blazers. Maybe exchange Morris with Portis? Or try it with Julius Randle?
I know, there are rumours for guys like Blake, Aldridge or Love. But I don't know how that would work without CJ in the deals, and I don't want to trade him. So I'm looking for small deals to get rid of Whiteside and bring back a few guys with energy and defensive upside.Comment
