I haven’t messed with the movement separation sliders this year which are 70/40 at default. Last year I ended up putting them at 99/1 to see greater separation between slow and fast players. With the new first step stuff I haven’t done it but I may play with that tomorrow.
It's even worse because that was Gheorghe Muresan, he makes Boban Marjanovic look like Usain Bolt.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

It was definitely GM stuck in that 'body you you up in transisiton' animation allowing him to run alongside Barbosa, which should not be happening....stride for stride he'd get burnt...

I play a Bradley, Muresan or Boban in just about every MyTeam match. They definitely arent quick, lol

It happens even without the hip ride animation. I’ve ran parallel to Boban without contact and he still paces a guy with 50 more speed than him.

Just posting this as an example because it just happened. I’ve seen much worse ones. For those who don’t want to wait, Lopez has 27 speed and acceleration whereas I have around 70.

Def seen worse. That's yet another animation that sucks you in...you literally did a gather step in place to be pulled into a contest...smh

That actually happened in my first ever game I played online on *gasp* day 1 against the Pelicans...with Okafor

I'm sure Kush has some examples in his archive too...

While the worst part was the animation I got sucked into at the basket, I still think I should have been able to gain more separation from Lopez on the break given our speed difference. The fact he was in my back the whole way is what really bothers me.

Just went into freestyle mode and ran some tests. I've used the 'hit start/stop on the iphone while watching the screen and handling the controller' method so there is some margin of error in my calculation. This is interesting.

Default game speed, Boban was dropped to 25 for all his speed and acceleration.

Full court run (no ball, no turbo)
                    Boban 7.84 seconds
                    De'Aaron Fox 6.35 seconds

Full court run (no ball, turbo)

                    Boban 6.36 seconds
                    Fox 5.42 seconds

                    Full court run (ball, turbo)
                    Boban 6.53 seconds
                    Fox 4.95 seconds

This throws up a lot of questions. Firstly, Im speaking from limited information. I can't measure these against actual combine stats. Best I can find is Donovan Mitchell setting the 3/4 court record at 3 seconds flat. Well, it took Fox 5.42 seconds in 2K so that is significantly slower.

Does anyone here believe that Fox is only a second faster than Boban over a full court sprint? I get that big guys cover more ground on their strides, but unless I see evidence, that has to be wrong.

I ran the same test and adjusted the speed thresholds to 100/0. The results are better. You can see the spread is much wider between the 2. Im going to set my sliders at this, and see if it has any adverse impact on gameplay.

Full court run (no ball, no turbo)
                    Boban 8.9 seconds seconds
                    De'Aaron Fox 5.1 seconds

                    Full court run (ball, turbo)
                    Boban 6.6 seconds
                    Fox 4.4 seconds

There is no 7 footer in the WORLD who can keep up with a 6'3 or under person with track star level speed in a full court sprint. Guys like Fox, Mike Conley, Donovan Mitchell etc should be able to get to the opposite baseline in the time it takes Boban to get to half court.

7 footers need their speeds AND verticals adjusted.

If Dirk could actually move like that we’d have 4 championships.
