All i play is myplayer for the competitiveness against other real people. I like emulating certain players. I know 2k would never let us respec lol. I just wish they would have left gameplay the way it was day one and made subtle obvious changes that we needed. Most of the toxic 2k community is to blame. They wanna speedboost and shoot greens everytime and make demigods, and for some reason 2k will listen

Though I feel it's for the betterment of the game, I 100% sympathize with MyPlayers, a shift to the speed like this has much more of an impact on them.
On the NBA side on/offline this has been a really solid gameplay patch....and I'll always support that. I'll suffer through 45 minutes of downloading for a better game.
I feel like 2K17-19 were a bit too light on 'meat of the game' fixes outside of shooting... so Mike, keep on doing your thing.
If we can sure up help/paint defense I'll be glad to remove 2K16's crown. (Offlne anyway)Last edited by The 24th Letter; 10-01-2019, 11:15 AM.Comment

It's just fantastic now. 2k lost me with this stutter city gameplay. Just unbelievable, after 5 big s. patches and no fix on PRO Stutter city!Comment

However it seems like you waited for a few patches so your big can be overpowered like the last iterations, watched a few youtube videos to see if its still effective after the social media complaints, and went with what worked best...
2K20 upon release the bigs WERE slow, as they should be.Comment

Re: NBA 2K20 Patch 1.05 Available Now - Some Patch Notes
The current gameplay IS very close to day one gameplay. So if you were playing it since day and made your player based off that gameplay, you shouldn't have a problem.

Oh and I dont listen to what the youtubers make. LOL. Most of these 2k youtubers are terrible and dont promote simulation gameplay. Not to mention most arent even good at the game.Last edited by swaggerUcanes; 10-01-2019, 11:48 AM.Comment

Im not in the minority. I always wanted 7ft3 bigs to be slow. I just think its funny how you make a build that is good for one patch then the next patch kills him. We all adjusted to how the game was and made builds based off the game at the beginning and now alot of people are forced to pay 2k more money to adjust AGAIN.
Yo-yo’ing builds to fit perfectly with patches — no matter how unrealistic — is inherently risky though, and risks don’t always pay off. What if you could buy a polka-dot top hat accessory that had a glitch that made you green 18% more often? Sure, buy it, but at your own peril because it’s obviously BS. Maybe they never fix it and you get your money’s worth greening all year on some mad-hatter BS, but you can’t complain if they patch it, because it was nonsense to begin with.

Re: NBA 2K20 Patch 1.05 Available Now - Some Patch Notes
I never said i made a build based off a patch. I get how youd get that... But what i meant was I made a build based off what the game was after a couple weeks of it being out when I thought the dust had settled. When other bigs that were trash were forcing over my 7ft tall big. Thats it lol. I went taller. I knew id be slower and I was. But not this slow lol. The speed scale is way wider than before. AGAIN. ITS SOMETHING THEY SHOULD HAVE HAD KEPT FROM DAY ONE OR NOT AT ALL.
Most 7’ Plus guys are significantly slower than their smaller counterparts...... the gap is how it should be now imo

SpoileruOk, I'm gonna need 2K to chill with the 20GB patches. I have been enjoying 2K20. And I understand the need to fix the myriad of issues with the game. I have Pro in our family room and a base PS4 in the bedroom. Every patch is double for me. With Cox I have a 1024GB cap. Fooling around with 2K I gonna be paying out the yang! I know, first world problems, but come on 2K...

You guys are missing my only point. I dont care to cheese, I dont look for glitches. If you make a build and invest time and vc into him, then 2k radically changes him. Youd be like wtf. 2k needs to come out and keep things mostly the same. Somebody has to understand what im saying. Yall seem cluelessComment

Re: NBA 2K20 Patch 1.05 Available Now - Some Patch Notes
Tendencies in 2K default roster plays a huge part. Players like Spida and Russ has 99 attack tendency. So they almost exclusively put their head down and tries to get to the rim. With default rosters it's a weird mix of modern and 90s era NBA basketball.
Lets hope we get a roster overhaul from 2K so we can get more ball movement and less bulldozing to the paint.
It didnt stop them from taking it to the rack but reduced it for sure, and they didnt always immediately take it back up but kicked it out sometimes on reboundsComment
