I've been on a half day and have been buried in 2k20 for the last couple of hours.

I dont know of the speed change had a trickle down effect or if the "other fixes" is what has made the difference but man is the game playing good. I'm having a lot of fun playing.

Pace needs to stay right where it is

Can’t join friends parks without being switched to a build that is not t ready for online play.
Then if you have two people in a squad, when the 3rd opens their phone to except the squad invite they get dashboarded.

damn, then i can go try and get a degree for a new job invented the very next year, then they'll change that job again right as im finishing my new degree again


that comparison doesn't really work, id be pissed off if i had a build or player that i thought worked a certain way in a game, then i grinded and potentially payed for it to get better, then they changed it drastically, and its a yearly game? im sorry but id simply say screw you to the game company, they should know how to balance their game properly by now after 20 years of making the game, i mean, its not like their distracted on other areas like how to monetize the game to hell right?

But they COULD change that job again and it could not suit your education, suddenly..and thats what happens in the real world all the time. I don't think it's fair, I agree with all of you. The consumer is not at fault for an improperly balanced game. All games are different all throughout their lifespan these days..and this is a problem with many games, not just this one. The simple concept of paying for something for it to be switched is ****ty, but if you and me both paid the same amount..and they nerfed yours to benefit you in a more comparable way to mine, I'd be happy, you'd be sad. You were initially MORE happy with your investment than I was and got a greater return on your investment, thats not right either. Is the game balanced? maybe not..but it's more balanced than it was and im cool with that.
The bottom line..if your big was fast..and that was a selling point..you screwed yourself..if your playmaker was an overpowered dribble god and you thought that was worth investing in..and they nerfed it..to make it a more balanced character..you didnt get screwed, you were adjusted to balance your investment with others. You can still use your 7'3 monster..he's just slower now..he's still tall though..and if you grind him right and actually can play this game..you'll be fine.

ps..I have a paint beast..i grinded him for hours..im totally ok with the nerf.

Exactly! Only thing id add is that when they come out with a game. Stick with the thought process you had. Stick with the gameplay and what shots work and what badges work. The only things that should be changed are game breaking type of things. Yes I agree with the change that 2k made with the speed. What i dont agree with is the timing. RIP to all those who made a build day 1 and are affected by this.

Games are never perfect coming out the box..thats unfortunate, but a reality..they change. You have what you asked for..a giant dude..THAT USED TO BE GAME BREAKING. Now he's not..he's normal..you still have him..they just defined him more by a realistic gauge of what a big should and shouldn't be able to do. Should you be upset? sure. Do you have a case for a grievance..very debatable.

I respect you for presenting your argument and have enjoyed communicating with you..lol..I just define value differently and so do the people that make this game.

Still can't notice anything. No statement uniforms. Missing easy open shots, bump into a defender and the ball gets stolen, under the basket big man gets shot deflected from opposing point guard (previous 2k games would have been a foul) now no whistle blow. These idiots can't do anything right.

I'm thinking 2k won't release new uniforms until they debut during the season. I could be wrong but I wouldn't worry much about that.

you think after 10 years where we are seeing disconnects online now they fix this? problem is that every year another thing is forcing these disconnects. in 2k10 you were not allowed to dunk right beneath the basket or it would result in a disconnect. in 2k13 if you ran a fastbreak and tried do start a layup/dunk at the freethrow line, it would disconnect.

since 2k17 the game will very likely disconnect if you change your matchups or defensive settings in the pause menu.

Remeber the one year a timeout would set off the court lights and it would drop

Remember when a timeout during a free throw. Wouldn't let the user see his shooter.... Lol.... Remember.... It's still in the game.

Not at all bro (or sis)...seeing that I don't know you lol. But none of that Madden crap where you have to restart or delete a profile after every patch. Just proceed on my friend and enjoy[emoji16]...if anything ever needs to be restarted to transfer over they usually put it in the patch note (when they finally release the notes lol)
