There is still a lack of fouls, and non steal turnovers, but I did see more on default sliders, than I had before this patch, so Im optimistic this can be fixed with slider adjustments, and possibly some roster editing.
I dont think charges, blocking, or shooting fouls on 3pt attempts, can be fixed unfortunately, as I think its hard coded in, to where these fouls will rarely get called, atleast when playing the CPU, I dont play online, so I dont know what its like playing against another user.

Overall, I am extremely pleased, with the game, and this latest patch. I just hope that the devs dont mess it up, adjusting things, because of those casual fans, that whine to the devs, till the devs give in to them. Because this is as close as they have ever come to making the game simulate the NBA gameplay.
What difficulty are you playing on @CaseIH?

While the game is great after the patch, the inside scoring on Default is wild. I'm tearing it up inside just as much as CPU. I'm curious because I just tried Hall of Fame - Default and I scored 80+ points in the paint. CPU also scored 80+ points in the paint against me. BTW, this was a 48 minute game.

Wondering what you see with one of the lower difficulties if you are using one of them.

I was just playing on Pro, and 12 minute qtrs. Both me and the CPU had just under 50% of our PIP, but the CPU only took I think 19 or 20 3tp attempts, they took a lot of mid range jumpers, so shot tendency sliders definitely are going to have to be adjusted, along with fouls sliders.

I cant play on anything higher than AL Star anymore, otherwise, I have to drastically put sliders heavy in my favor, my reflexes and reaction time just isnt what they use to be, sucks getting old So I dont know what it plays like on SS or HOF this yr.

In the game I played, the CPU was just moving the ball around much more looking for that open shot, I even saw them drive and kick on default shot tendency settings, and before this last patch, it was rare to see the drive and kick.

Thanks, that's pretty much the info I needed. I will try a game on each default level just to see what I like best in terms of gameplay.

After the patch PiP has gotten realistic for me, and I can now defend the paint. Although, the offensive rebounding is still bogus.

Hof default 48 minutes vs CPU Clippers. I was able to defend the paint. Same thing vs. Rockets. Adjusting that help defense in the coaching menu helps.

Even after 1.05 patch, I'm still having framerate issues online on PS4 PRO. Same as before. I know they've "addressed stuttering and lag issues" in patch notes, but it's still unplayable.

Is anyone having the same problem after the patch? Or is something that can be fixed modifying camera or other settings?

Good stats apart the number of FT attempted from the CPU.
You play with default HoF slider including the foul?

I’ve seen the cpu have backcourt violations too much now for no reason. Not sure if it’s related to a speed or movement fix but almost every game now I see the cpu PG just kind of dribble crazy backwards and accidentally step over half for a violation while just trying to run a half court offence.

Cpu attempted 16 free throw attempts against me last night and I had 22 attempts. Cpu free throw attempts is the only gameplay complaint I have as of now. This is using @Schnaidt1 slider and lineup rotation setup. He using pro difficulty as a base to negate the bonuses the cpu gets on higher difficulties and then tweak the sliders to make the game sim and competitive. Since release an average decent player with a mammoth build is averaging 15-20 rebounds per game, averaging 14-17 ppg because if they don't get passed they still get offensive rebound put backs, average more assists than the point guards and all other players for that matter because of break starter and offensive rebound kick outs, and a couple blocks per game. Now they are on here crying that the dude finally does not get to run up the floor or react as fast as quick guards. Give me a break. They have been nerfed and still are the builds that collect the most stats so that should tell you just how OP they really were/are still. Do you have any idea how much more skill you need to have to get good stats and a high teammate grade with a guard than a mammoth. God forbid you have a weakness now and have to understand positioning, boxing out, timing defensive contests and when to go for blocks rather than just pushing buttons and getting favorable results.
If you're talking about my argument from a couple days ago I said I want 2k to keep their gameplay the same. If big men are that slow at the beginning KEEP it that way. Those bigs 7ft1 and up have been running that fast since 2k17 so im shocked they actually made that change. Its a change that should of been made years ago lol. For people who play mycareer and spend VC on their players tho, 2k NEEDS to keep gameplay consistent. They cant slow your player down, nerf his dunking, shooting, jumpshot, badges ect.... UNLESS it is game breaking. I know those bigs should be slower and after a few days it seems pretty good. Im 7ft2 and definitely not slow enough where im not a factor. I still can run the court, I just gotta get back right after the shot attempt.

As for saying big men have it easier then guards....they are 2 totally different games. Thanks to everyone cherry picking OF COURSE it is easier for me as a big to get assists off a defensive reb (with or without break starter) or even off an offensive board if i kick it out. OF COURSE a good positioned big will get 15-20 boards. 90% of the bigs I play online dont know good positioning or dont box out. Its funny honestly. A good big man should have post moves, be able to rebound and get a few blocks. Plus with the dummies that like to pass inside when im RIGHT THERE i get easy steals too. You say overpowered, I say that what a good big is SUPPOSED TO DO! Jokic anyone?

So you're saying that if a company makes a game that has a bug in it, and people adjust to the bug, that they should just keep it there because a select few people like the bug and work with the bug? Nah, not many people are going to agree with that. If there's something wrong with the game, they need to fix it.

You are arguing FOR arcade mechanics because it specifically affects you. It sucks you spent time and/or money into this meta character, but I refuse to accept your argument of "they made it that way, they need to keep it that way". They literally changed it within a months time of the game being released. Less than a month went by and they fixed it. To me, that's perfectly acceptable. And it's not like they haven't done this in the past, either.

Your whole argument is "well it was that way, they need to keep it that way" doesn't hold water, especially when it was so absurd in the first place. I don't care if a few of you need to change your characters, but Boban Marjanovic should not be able to keep up with Russell Westbrook in the open court.

I used Jokic as an example for big man stats. He gets close to a trip dub all the time.

In my response I said i agree with the change. I chased down a couple the other night, but only when i was already close to him when he went up. Obviously I wouldnt be able to chase him down from half court. Thats how it should be. I just said they havent fixed the issue in years. Im surprised they did now. All my argument ever was, is that for my career players they need the gameplay to be consistent, nerfing and buffing things in the game that drastically has a BIG affect on your player needs to be out from the start so you know what you are getting.. I TOTALLY agree with what they did AND STILL enjoy my "Porzingis" type build a lot. Just saying id like the gameplay to not change so drastically back and forth. I hope they keep this speed the rest of the year and for years coming.

Ill probably be explaining this to everyone on here, but hey I love the responses and you guys keep me entertained at work!

My argument is that I want gameplay to be consistent. When the game came out players were slower, then they sped things up, now they slowed things down again. Thats 3 changes in a month. And its all because of the community. I wish 2k made their game(simulation i hope) and said sorry but this is real basketball to the complaining never happy community( at least it seems this way when i watch youtube vids or follow twitter). Im totally fine and really like the speed change. It feels more like what they initially had. My only complaint is that I want them to stick to their guns. I hope they keep gameplay and speed where it is at. My 7ft2 Kristaps type build STILL is great, but he isnt my only player. I have a 6ft7 two way playmaker(Pippen) and I love that i can now use my speed more against larger opponents. Im definitely not arguing for arcade. Im arguing for consistency. This speed system needs to stay. So when you make a taller or shorter player YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE GETTING. Im with you man, not against yall.
