First thing to try would be just going slower when confirming changes; let the home jersey completely reload before you try and leave the menu.

When you start whatever paint or editing tool you're using, start by making a 1024x1024 canvas and importing onto that rather than starting straight from an import. Also, when you are removing the background, don't crop the image; that'll change the ratio.

Thanks for the info, I don't really keep up with NBA as much as I used to in the 80s-90s so I didn't know about the Starbucks thing - I don't like them either, their products or politics. I guess I read an older article about the naming rights of the new Seattle Center and Alaska Airlines being at the top of the list. Easy changes to make though.

Alaska Airlines is sponsorering the entryway atrium in front of the arena. The "Alaska Atrium" is essentially the concourse. That's probably what you saw.

But yeah, basically Howard Shultz was the owner of the Sonics that sold it to the OKC group that everyone knew was buying the team specifically to move it.

Hi guys, i relocated okc back to seattle in my, myleague and have noticed some rebrand designs keep the banners and arena from okc and some don't, which is fine. But i was curious if i could occasionally change a teams design that i was not going to relocate and keep the arena aspects? For ex i changed the warriors to the Oakland oaks and it must of autosaved and lost the chase center 'arena' and would like to change it back to default but don't know if that's possible? Thanks!! Anyone happen to know the best 80's sonics rebrand with the 'updated' sonics, globe logo that someone customized to include the updated city skyline? Thx!!

The only way to revert to the original arena is to download the basic Warriors design and recreate everything else from scratch.

The only way to revert to the original arena is to download the basic Warriors design and recreate everything else from scratch.

I think I have you bookmarked as on of my tabs in 2k lol. But yeah one of the things that has made me not want to rebrand any teams is once they are rebranded they lose the team warmups and I know that some of you may not care about that but it’s such an eyesore seeing one team wearing warmups while the others are just wearing uniforms. It makes the game less immersive IMO. I remember when the game first dropped they actually had it to where if you rebranded teams then they would keep the warmups but as usual people started complaining about that because when they would relocate a team to another city, the former teams warmups would still show up and the old team logo, which I can understand but I’d rather have it be that way than not have the warmups at all. What’s crazy is that even when you win the championship it’s still gonna show the former logos and warmups when they are celebrating at the end. The ring ceremony is the same. I love to rebrand but haven’t done so for that exact reason. I’m an artist so when it comes to details stuff like that easily takes me out of it and makes me not want to rebrand a team. Luckily when we make expansion teams, they actually have warmups now so I’ve just gone that route.

Huh. So, I hadn't noticed any teams not wearing warmups. But yeah, looks like a "rebrand" will have no warmups, but expansion teams will.

Seems like a glitch that it isn't applying to redesigned existing teams, since the mechanic is obviously there for expansion teams. Probably won't be fixed at this point. Personally, I'd much rather have no warmups than be stuck with the old teams; a teams old colors being at court side would be a lot more jarring than them not having warmups to me.

Yeah I agree. I’m not as mad about it now bc I’ve found other ways that help me ignore small details like that. You make an excellent point though because when I first got 2k20 I moved OKC back to Seattle and they still would be wearing the thunder warmups lol so I stopped rebranding until they fixed it. So far the only team I have rebranded in my current my league are the thunder, so it’s not bad being that it’s not the team I’m controlling.

Just an idea. Nothing groundbreaking or anything, but it wasn’t my first idea when I started doing ML (1st year back on 2k since like 14) But I’d you’re worried about all the main drawbacks with rebranding etc I was about a season or so deep in ML and decided to have 2 separate saves. One where I’ve rebranded everyone and another where everyone is still same. Now I don’t have to worry accidentally doing something and losing all that hard work.
