This is some bull! They care nothing at all about offline modes. It's gravy train or nothing at this point.

My inner denial is telling me that they are focusing on patching modes that give them a constant stream of money because they’re focusing their offline efforts solely on 2K21 for the PS5/Xbox-whatever.

But if next-gen 2K21 still ignores offline modes, we can pack it in and move on.

I can't play through an entire game anymore on PS4.

System just locks up midgame. I've waited for hours for it to unfreeze and it never does.

Man they also took away amateur 2 base and release and changed it too high school 1 aka amateur 1 base and release, added this funky shot from idk who, probably somebody off of 2ktv, a lot of us sig makers used amateur 2 both release and base, like cmon 2k man y’all really have a down year

Of course. They wouldnt be able to keep milking the youngins otherwise.

I've been playing since 2k8 and I was buying every year up until 2k14 where I decided to do every other year because they weren't changing anything in myleague and I could update rosters online for at least a year after the new game came out. I liked 2k20 because of the historical drafts(which they put 0 time in and are trash)....tendencies are trash, too many badges that lead to animations and too many badges in general....there are so many good things In the game that if they fixed like 10 things gameplay wise & added some things into myleague that actually worked i think we would be happy.

I'll be waiting to see what happens but I highly doubt they will put anything new in myleague. Or maybe I'll eat my words...I know I havent yet.

Consider me a lost 2k customer if they choose to ignore myleague again.

OS has died down tremendously in the last year. Even the last few years too but wow this year there are barely any rosters or sliders. No ones posting anymore. I also barely see any dynasty threads either. This forum used to be POPPING with people. They are all gone:/. Thanks 2k.

I dunno...to my understanding was that roster/slider edits were becoming too time consuming which is leading to the decrease of certain conversations. Honestly, I think the offline gameplay is fine, and I haven't had many complaints between NBA 2K19 and NBA 2K20. However, I don't nitpick the game to death either.

Completely understandable.

But....here's the thing.

2k has never made it easy on roster/slider makers. They change gameplay and **** with things every other update because they cant seem to get it right the first time. Or even after a few patches. I downloaded so many GB updated this game because they literally released it with so many issues.

Of course creators are going to be pissed when every single players tendencies in the game are messed up. When newly scsnned players dont go into the rosters already made or even sometimes into people's games at all.

The create a player tool could still use improvements but I'm way happier than years past with it.

The past years drafts created? Trash. Barely any time put into them. I was actually excited for those lol

Overall they always make it hard on the community to do what it wants to do and it's because of them making boat loads of money selling hair styles and colored shoes in a video game.


Anyways...I still play 2k and it's not going to prevent me from enjoying some nostalgia from the previous generational stars. Luckily some people still put the time in to help others have fun with this game. I cant see myself spending more money next year though unless something drastic changes.

How people can complain for months about a players hair being 1 inch too long, or his shoes don’t look worn enough, while the actual game mechanics are in dire need of improvement, is just beyond me.

The poster is saying focus on the big picture and complain about things that are important, not minute details.

that said, I long ago realized that all the things I considered silly like haircuts, shoes, tiny details on arenas were important to others. My focus has always been on gameplay and issues that impact game modes.
