To validate if the consumer shares the outcome of the data.

If the data shows that interceptor is causing more steals than expected , you start a poll to ask if the players have this experience.

When a certain threshold is reached you can then decide to act on it or not.

This should be very basic common knowledge...,

They dont randomly start polls based on nothing and the make decions that affect the game lol.

Its like people have no idea how companies are run....

Everyone that plays videos game or any type of game for that matter is a gamer in the sense.

Still does not make everyone understanding of games equal.

Its just childish to call a game you dont play thrash.

He prefers games from EA like fifa ,
Live , need for speed and battlefield.
He also said he rather does not play basketball game at all since he already does it as its job.

With live closing down only 2K is left.

So yeah seems more like a childish immature comment rather them something well though out and based on solid arguments.

To be clear, there is a difference between an argument and opinion. Fox obviously wasn't trying to make the former. He's allowed to express his feelings, no different from anyone else on OS or the rest of the 2K community at large. That doesn't mean his words have to be taken as gospel.

FWIW Shane Battier contacted me years ago about MVP Baseball rosters. C.J. McCollum follows me on Twitter. Athletes are no different from normal people. They don't announce themselves, but they come through here if they're looking for a varied sports gaming experience, same as anyone else.

I was going to make a similar point. At the end of the day,it is just one man's opinion....don't read too much into it.

Now that doesn't mean we shouldn't discuss the game; it just means that we have to not always take it so personally.

He's entitled to his own opinion, as is everyone else. Some like it, some don't. I'm not really a big fan of this years game either...I went back to playing 2k19. But some ppl like this years game alot. To each his own. I'm just excited to see what 2k21 will bring, considering it'll be on next gen.

Re: D'Aaron Fox - 2k is a trash game thats why wont stream it

I wouldn't call this year's game trash but I've definitely played it a lot less than 2K19.

-- The explosive behind the back animation ruined every online mode for me until it was patched out of the game in January. It sucked having 1 move that never should have been in the game to begin with ruin the first 4 months of 2K20.

I could already tell after a few hours of abusing the AI with it in The Prelude that the explosive BTB animation would be a major problem if it made it into the retail version, and 2K has got to do a better job of testing the game for cheese before it releases (let some 2K League players or Ante Up players get their hands on 2K21 and provide some feedback) then police the cheese as it emerges post release and fix exploits at a significantly faster pace instead of letting them dominate the gameplay of every competitive mode for 1/3 of 2K20's lifespan.

Since then, my main complaints are:

-- The right joystick dribbling feels super slow and clunky this year, and there just aren't enough good moves in general, nor are there enough moves that chain together fluidly. 90% of the right stick moves are unusable because they have too many wasteful, unnecessary frames of animation that create delay at the start of a move or have long recovery times tacked onto the end of a move before you can branch into the next stick flick. I also miss having access to those canned moving sizeup routines from 2K19; please bring those back for 2K21.

-- The hop step animation that's part of the long athlete layup package lets any MyPlayer with a 70 layup rating turn into an Olympic long jumper. It shouldn't come back for 2K21 since no one hops like that in the real NBA. There's also a glitch that needs to be fixed where players will sometimes unintentionally do a double hop step or a double euro step without being called for a travel.

-- The intimidator and pogo stick badges were horrible additions to the game, as defenders who have both equipped at gold or higher make inside scoring and post up scoring pointless to attempt because of how easy it is to contest those shots into misses.

-- There's no good defensive counter to hall of fame brick wall screens other than to switch them (which the AI has trouble doing successfully). Hall of fame pick dodger should cancel or at least mitigate the effectiveness of hall of fame brick wall but instead it gives you worse defensive animations than gold pick dodger does. Too many badges are like this (corner specialist is another) where the lower levels are either equal to or better than the higher levels. The difference between bronze and hall of fame on a lot of badges is barely noticeable, and that shouldn't be the case.

-- The quick draw badge shouldn't affect the speed of post fades and post hooks. It should only affect moving and standing jumpshots.

-- The steady shooter badge should trigger on post fades (it doesn't currently) since it's extremely difficult to generate an uncontested "wide open" fade (they usually register at least 6% contested even against major height mismatches or in situations where it looks like you've created some separation).

-- Shots shouldn't register as contested unless the defender puts a hand up or jumps. "Hand down, man down" should be a tactic in this game, just like it is in real life. But in 2K20 a defender can be lifelessly standing behind or to the side of a shooter with no hand up and still register a "good" contest purely off his body presence.

-- Many of the standing and driving layup animations (including most floaters and hook shots) have broken release points that don't sync up with how the shot looks on screen and will rarely (if ever) turn green, regardless of how high your ratings/badges are. This has been a problem since 2K19; 2K18 was the last year that layups/floaters worked and could consistently be greened.

-- Passing lane steals need to become more timing based and a true risk/reward gamble not a spammable, repeatable action with zero negative consequences like they are in 2K20.

-- Those awkward, twisting, no look toss the ball over your head alley oop layup animations should be taken out of the game because no one catches oops like that in real basketball. The range for throwing alley oops should also extend past halfcourt (it stops there, currently), and it should go all the way down to the opposing team's free throw line if the passer has his lob city badge on hall of fame (the lower the badge level, the closer you have to be to throw them).

Whatever bug or tendency rating is stopping players who've purchased the pro/elite alley oop animations from triggering them during 5v5 games also needs to be fixed for 2K21. I have three different MyPlayer builds who have the pro alley oops equipped but only catch them as layups in 5v5 modes.

-- Position locks were a great addition to MyTeam until 2K intentionally broke them to sell more packs and added a 6'11" do everything Giannis point guard card. Now you can't run anyone smaller than 6'8" at that position and all other PG cards in the game are useless. It'd be nice if for once we could go a whole year with real point guards being usable instead of 6'8" being the mandatory cutoff height for that position.

TBH i don't care who made the statement about 2k, but because 2k has a different demograph, i would hope folks keep the same energy with EA and Madden.

All this mental gymnastics for a game with magnetic force fields and animations controlling everything on the court lol.
Im watching the NBA tournament and its embarrassing.

The game is getting more and more arcade every year. I can't play it much anymore with the way the gameplay is now and also with how bad so many of the animations are in the game that they refuse to address.

They've made it so anyone can be good at the game now with the right badges. Skill and basketball iq has gone out the window in favor of trying to go after every bum and kid out there that might buy VC to boost their revenues.
