I don't have a problem with the $10. But i think it would have been nice for those who buy the Legend edition current gen to get the legend edition next gen.
I feel if you buy current gen Legend edition to upgrade to next gen, you better not use that bonus content for next gen. Unless it is for MyTeam, I wouldn't waste that 100000 VC on MyPlayer since it doesn't transfer over.

Wait, hasn't the legend editions always been $100? I guess people can be upset that the Dame cover version doesn't auto convert over to the Zion one, but tbh it's up to the developers. 2k is the 1st to not just do the auto upgrade for PS5 and XSX, I'm sure they won't be the last.

Personally I don't understand people wanting to buy current gen versions unless they're gonna play it all year. It's going to be what you've gotten for the last 3 years pretty much like the end of every console. If I get 21 at all, it'll be next gen.

Would you feel better if it was Vince Carter? Is it a marketing advantage to use Kobe? Sure, but someone had to be on the cover. Honestly, for my first next-gen purchase, I would rather it be Kobe than any other player.

Exactly, you shouldn't even bother with MyPlayer current gen if you plan on getting next gen at launch. You're only going to get like 2 and half months of using that character and any VC used isn't going to be refunded knowing 2k. Are people really going to spend $50+ of real money on VC or use the 100k VC on a character they might not touch again once they switch over to next gen.

I would only get Current gen 2k21 if I was a big MyTeam fan or just need something to hold you over. I been done with this current generation. So like with Madden and other games, I'm waiting for next gen to play games

This is correct. If you look at the additional content section of the graphic below it says "100,000 VC available on PS4/XB1/NSW/PC/Stadia" and "100,000 VC 2K21: Mamba Forever Edition Bonus". As MoneyOvaHuds stated, this is only if you purchase the current gen Mamba Edition and whatever you don't spend transfers over to PS5/XBX.
