I think 2K will survive.

It's been stated numerous times that its still in the game....in this very thread.

The important thing is that its been acknowledged and it will hopefully be addressed soon.

Mike can we also have the option to disable to red circle that notifies us of a double team?

For everyone who has the game, can you revert back to 2K20 timing mechanic? Can you post a screenshot of how to enable this feature? I haven't purchased it yet so I'm unable to verify. Thanks!

You can revert back to timing, but it's still the new meter. It doesn't fill up like the one on 2K20. It's much easier IMO than the aiming. Unless I am missing something I dont think we can go back to the shot meter from previous 2Ks.

So if you go back to shot timing with the pro stick the meter still stays but doesn’t fill up ?

Yep. You just dont have to worry about the aiming and stuff. You still have to hit the line but it's all timing with of the other stuff. I struggled mightily with shooting in the demo. In MyCareer with timing I'm about to where I was with 2K20. I does take some getting used to.

I really hope you are wrong and that there is an option to use the 2K20 meter. The new meter is ugly. The 2K20 is a lot better. It’s contoured to the player and isn’t this big flat thing all above the player. Plus the 2K meter always stayed behind the player (back to head) and it moved towards the direction of the basket you shot on. In broadcast the new meter always moves to the right in the demo.

No, I rmb seeing somewhere that the u cannot turn off in demo but can in real game, now is needing it to be patched, I mean hope to be addressed soon, I am not making things up please understand, I am just recalling what I saw here before and got shock that the stupid issue is still there, sometimes I just don't get what kind of mindset these developers have when making the game, like mistake that not even nba 2k1 will have back then, who will play a basketball game that know the ball will go in before it actually does, I am writing so much because is just way too frustrating.

I believe this also works with the button. You can have Aiming on the stick and the button will be a timing-shot.
