Not saying they shouldn't fix this stuff but we can band-aid some of those issues ourselves now with the new sliders.

The players reverting back to lower ratings /less badges etc can be fixed without manually editing? The sliders will help with contracts be more normalizes? I haven't seen much about sliders yet! Awesome

It's the Toronto Maple Leafs problem.

Why fix anything? Children and whales will buy the game anyway.

Microtransactions are cancer on game design. Once introduced, the entire development process revolves around spendthrift whales and gullible children.

Because we're idiots, they must be outlawed.

I never expect anything with a new console around the corner. If we buy current gen and there is a free upgrade to next gen, then that is fine with me. At least I can practice with the new shot stick before next gen.

This is the 2nd year in a row MyLEAGUE is not touched by the way so don't blame it on next gen.

It's sad that companies choose the pay to win method and ignore game modes like this. Nba style basketball is what made 2k games possible. We all wanted to play with our favorite team, whether that be a single game or seasons and dynasties. Now fortnite style seems to win. Money talks. As much as I dislike Fortnite, at least their money grubbing is cosmetic.

My 60 bucks should mean something, even though I don't buy vc.

I'm afraid to say it, but appears NBA 2K is going down the madden route when it comes to franchise. This appears to be the 2nd year in a row with nothing added to it.

Madden franchise has been unchanged for quite some time now. 2K hasn't touched myleague for the last 2 years, honestly it feels like it's been the same for the past 3 years to me.

We didn’t get any information on MyGm, which likely means it’s unchanged. 2K has implemented the new NBA calendar which has been impacted by COVID-19. This was done to capture the reality of the current-day NBA.

As far as MyLeague is concerned, here is what was offered as a description:

“Sit in the boss’ chair, and make decisions that matter not only to your player or team–but to the entire franchise and league. From drafting impact rookies to trading players to relocating your team, every move, big or small, counts towards the long-term success–or failure–of your basketball franchise.”

That essentially reads like the back of the box for a sports video game from 20 years ago, but there are a few additions that will likely appeal to most hardcore MyLeague Online fans. There will be a different level of admin control in MyLeague Online.

This will allow users to assign specific controls over aspects of online leagues. There will also be an activity log added so that anyone can view the transactions and moves that have taken place in an MLO.

The WNBA will have a better representation. You can now play an entire season with all 12 teams.

The Bottom Line: There isn’t a ton that will be new here. It’s as apparent now more than ever, if you’re looking for something new from 2K this year, you’d be best to look ahead to the next-gen version assuming you’re making the investment to the new consoles.

If not, this could be a tough year for 2K fans to justify investing in the new game.
