Mike Wang was asked what is different when it comes to next gen gameplay and he specifically pointed out that player movement took a giant leap forward.

Good to hear. Their animation quality is the best in the business already so I can imagine how good Next Gen will be.

They just need to tighten up foot planting, not tether passing, & make the two man animation sequences interruptible at all times...If they do that I will be in basketball video game heaven lol. Can't wait for Next Gen!

JK- Have you noticed many CPU double teams? The constant CPU double teams in 2020 led me to eventually shelve the game.

Yes I've noticed them but they don't seen to double team as much on default. I usually turn the Help Defense Strength slider to 100 to get more realistic double teams.

It feels more distinct from 20 than I was anticipating which is nice. Maybe it's just because the controls are different and I'm needing to learn and adjust, but it doesn't just feel like 20 with a couple of different images.

Not that the difference is huge, but I don't feel like I'm just playing the same game.

Shooting is woeful on higher difficulties, seemingly regardless of which input you're using. Everything in the slightly category, and yet still shooting at a frigid 20% clip

I noticed this. However, I will wait a week before I make a judgment. I would rather it be hard then easy. Last year i could shoot over 50 percent from 3 with the Hawks on a regular basis.
