I have 0 confidence we're getting this incredible highly different storyline. IT WILL BE THE EXACT SAME STORYLINE.

also, does anyone know who plays on PS4 if at some point you get control over your entire roster's minutes?

I disagree, they did this same thing with 14 on PS3 and PS4 and both were completely different. I can guarantee the next gen version will be something completely different than what we have now.

So you're telling me there's no Jesse Williams, Michael K Williams or any of the actors they paid all that money for? And Zion and Dame filmed more scenes than just that? I totally disagree.

I guess we'll see then. But as I recall, most first versions of next gen games are VERY bare bones w an emphasis on graphics.

I’m not saying they’ll switch actors, but there’s a reason mycareer doesn’t carry over. You think they did that just to spite people? If it was the same then all the progress would carry over. I’m definitely sure it’s a new story. Plus Zion and Dame were in what, one scene each? They definitely filmed way more lol

Like I said, use 14 for example, both two different mycareer for PS3 and 4

For the amount of voice work they did I don't think they paid them that much. Probably just a weekend of work imo.

I 100% disagree. The scene Zion and Dame were the ONLY versions that will be moving forward for the PS5 version.

You are going to be very disappointed.

Lol okay, I’ll revisit this when they drop MyCareer news for Next Gen.

Can anyone comment on whether CPU teammates are any better in 2K21 MyCareer? or are they the mostly useless trash like in 2K20? has any improvement been made at all, maybe even just better free throw shooters?

Seriously, at least 90% of my games I start out with a 10 point deficit by the end of the first quarter due to teammates missing open shot after open shot and meandering around the ring and putting up contested shots on much taller defenders.

I try to play by never calling for the ball and instead try to let the offense flow naturally, but sometimes it's just a real struggle with such garbage CPU teammate AI.

I assess what's going on and then call for the ball. I'm a 'big' so I like to call for the ball around the FT line on either side and look for options, then you can redirect the ball and set a pick or something. Can also call for a pick. It sucks in a way, but you need to know when to allow your guys to score ( basically the cpu will score consistently in situations where they have scored before, if they blow by a guy when you give them the ball in a certain spot, you can expect that often, and I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure if you are passing to someone that it matters how crisp the pass is. Like, if you find them in rhythm or make them sit waiting.) Then there is just the general '2k is not gonna let you win this game' type where y'know you legendarily win a few per year but mostly you just shrug and laugh.

Put it on HoF so cpu goes a little harder, if nothing is happening go and set a pick on someone, just kind of engage the defense, unstick everyone. It's kind of like resetting. Once the cpu sputters enough, it's kind of like eh I'm calling for it. Not gonna wait 16 seconds for them to run a play to get my C a fade away 15 footer... even if it's a shot they make. It's just boring.

Remember: you can call for the ball from a guy who is sitting on it and flick it over to a different side to make a different outcome. Your teammates are, or can be, trash at still, but you can kind of control how they play. IMO it's lame to play just mashing for the ball, but if the cpu is running a slow play and you can get to one of the spots where you can really pass to anyone and where 2k will generally pass you the ball ( like around the FT line), you can at least keep it moving.

I mean they claim next gen is built from "the ground up" and Neighborhood isn't coming back. Plus Mike Wang said builds, badges and takeovers are all different in next gen.

I Just don't think they would do all this just to give up the same MyCareer story as current gen. Plus what was the point of naming all those cities in the first trailer?

IF, and that is a BIG IF, thats the mindset of 2k then I will be pissed off. They (2K) should take care those who invested their money for PS4 and buy their product. It feels to me that they just got the money from the people who bought the PS4 version and treated as "suckers" and left the people who enjoy myC to dry. I am not buying PS 4 version, maybe 2k22 for PS5...I am reserving my hard earn cash before this election.

The CPU is still very bad. Like I said before, your teammates and the opposing teams CPU is bad. Theirs is just slightly better maybe because I play on HOF. I literally just recorded a video on Twitch to try and show Mike how bad both teams shoot.

They barely can make a open shot. It’s very bad. In result, it makes these games boring and easy. 2K19, I felt the cpu was pretty tough to guard and had a good balance of hitting tough shots and being off. Your CPU teammates also was good and hit their open shots.

Do we still have control over the minutes each player gets at a certain point in the game???

They should have made the PS4 version $30. Charging $60 for it is a joke imo.

Anyone else experiencing it when you go to the bench the other team scores an impossible number of points and gets a huge lead in only a couple minutes?

I sat out 3 minutes of a finals game and a 9 point lead was a 10 point deficit when I came back.

I ended up with a +/- like 30 higher than my bench in that game (5 minute quaters!)

Tough watching the Jazz have 3 "cold" players at once. Unfortunately, I've had 4 teammates all be cold simultaneously so I know the feeling.
