So I am disappointed that the only thing they revealed was the WNBA today. I was expecting more game comes out in like 2 weeks. 2k really loves waiting until the last minute.

I'm the last person you'd see nitpicking like some of these 12 yr Olds but some things bothered me in that video.. ..


1. Why is there zero rim physics? It stays completely stiff the entire time.
2. Allie Laforce mouth is just moving it's not even close to saying the words you hear. It's also the exact same situation as last year but Allie instead of David.
3. Why in gods name do they still have every single player standing still swaying in unison? Just non stop swaying.
4. Why do they keep using the most atrocious announcers? Most of them NEVER even call NBA games..
5. Zion is adjusting his shorts and jersey before the tip & nothing moves. His hands are rock solid as well and dont even look like they are touching his jersey.
6. I saw everyone do that triple threat behind the back. There's maybe 5 players who actually do that move in the NBA.
7. The pregame stuff on the court looks the same as the last 4 years. I dont see why they used this as a selling point in the video

The pre-game stuff in that gameplay reveal did look similar, but you saw in the gameplay trailer that Luka came out of the tunnel, so there's definitely new stuff added. I guess we'll have to wait to it's in the reviewers hands to see more.

Cause it's not there for you. It's in there for WNBA fans and so females can finally be represented in a fun engaging mode.

So many people miss the point of this. It's not about it appealing to all the people who buy NBA 2k.

To assume that any attention was taken away from the modes you do care about for this is a reach at best.

What's the issue with him stating that he has no interest in something in a game he's paying 70 dollars for? This is litterally all we do on video game forums. It's perfectly reasonable to argue that you feel a games resources would have been better used elsewhere.

For example the Ncaa or Euro teams. We had 10 Ncaa teams integrated in my career in 2k17, now 5 years later and we still only have 10. We had European teams from 2k14-2k17, then they dissapered completely. I would argue that I would much rather them invest in either of those two, then have put resources in the WNBA.

Again, a mode doesn't have to be for everyone. However, criticizing a video game for putting time into something rather than something else is standard.

Does anyone know if there are more new game modes or is this it? Would love to have Kobe's greatest moments to play and maybe even filters for classic teams

Nope, it's not that they were unpopular, its that they were critisized for being half assed. About 1 out of every 10 players has a face that resembled their real life image. I remember people using Luka/Saric ext years before they came into the nba. When people talk euro teams, they want the same love put into them as was put into the Wnba. The only reason people stopped using them was because 95% of the team were generic CAP faces, and zero time was put into their playbooks, arenas ext.

Now if you take what was started in those games, put in the time and effort to fix those issues? The possibilites are endless. World championships/olympics implmented into mycareer/myleague. Taking player Dna and putting them into future draft classes ext.

That's the point, we want Ncaa integration at a much higher level. Same thing with Euroleague. Can you imagine being able to make an accurate draft class because you have access to player dna from a ton of Euro Rosters and NCAA rosters? Legendary

My point is I would have rather scene resources the last 2 games put towards a fully accurate Euro/Ncaa integration than what we got with the Wnba

Looks like next week is going to be a big week for next gen NBA 2K21. It's the last week they have to reveal all the features before the game drops on Tuesday 11/10. So MyTeam, MyLeague, and the mode formally known as the neighborhood will all drop next week. Im not sure why they waited to drop all that info in one week.

No I don't think he's selfish at all. He's a consumer of a 70$ product. If he feels like an aspect of the game is a waste, and that time could be better put elsewhere than thats perfectly fine. Just like it's perfectly fine for you to find value in that aspect of the game.

I think its just as if not more silly to get mad about someone not seeing the value in an aspect of the game. We're consumers of a yearly product, if you feel there's a mode that's a waste of time/space speak on it. I've seen modes get replaced in Cod, Gears of War ext , because of passionate fans giving ideas of things that could better replace it. I've been around a lot of video game forums and there's definitely value in having consumers speak on parts of games they don't get enjoyment out of

Lol if you don't think consumers influence the decision making process look At destiny, no man's sky, the division, marvel's avengers, seas of thevies, halo infinite. Perfect example of what can happen when consumers are unhappy with a product. Just look back at the Xbox One release, and how consumers forced them to reverse nearly everything about the console
If anything its 2k consumers that are way to passive when it comes to holding this company accountable. Probably a result of sports gamers being much more casual than other gamers

I don't know about Destiny, The Division, and Sea of Thieves, but No Man's Sky...incomplete and was a far cry from what they presented. Halo Infinite...that's the money maker and it was poorly received, so it only makes sense to delay the release of the game. Marvel's Avengers....it was an incomplete game, but had promise.

The reality is that the MEDIA are the ones who influence the decision making process of games. Some companies and developers (which is not a bad idea) will take feedback from the community, but that feedback is received REGARDLESS if you own the game or not.

X-Box had ideas and whiny gamers made them backtrack, because they didn't want to change how things were at the time, BUT....we're exactly what Microsoft originally envisioned when it came to digital games. They just shot themselves in the foot with the Kinect thing.

The two PBP guys are Kevin Harlan and Brian Anderson, 2 of the top TNT PBP announcers for national broadcast - Brian Anderson did the western conference finals this year.

Doris Burke, Chris Webber, Steve Smith, Greg Anthony, Grant Hill all do national broadcasts all the time.

The only people you have a point about are Brent Barry though he did games until recently, and Clark Kellogg who hasn't in a long time.

But who are you talking about?

I mean honestly, what % of players who buy NBA 2K are female, or buy it wanting to play with WNBA PLAYERS? I understand, its a professional league and theres a "market" for it... but why not make a WNBA game? if the demane is there, make it? Most people who BUY NBA2K, buy it for the NBA---- i dont know much about data and all that, but I would assume, if they were to remove the WNBA stuff- it could be used to better NBA2k. Just a pointless addition to 95% of people buying the NBA game----
