Yea I would recommend doing some form of 30 team control even if you just do it for the high profile FA. I believe you can also bump up cpu resign slider.

Started a season with the Pelicans. 58 game season schedule. Playing 1-2 games a week on the game calendar then simcast the others.

So far 1-2. Playing with Zion is awesome and having Ingram is fun as well. I’m considering maybe trying to trade for Harden without giving one of those players up. Any suggestions?

Put Ingram and Zion as untradable or "untouchables"
Then go to trade finder and click on Harden and see if there's anything the Rockets would be willing to do

Year two with the Hornets.
Wanted to play with them mostly because of Gordan Hayward. He's my boy.

1st year I missed the playoffs by about 5 games.
Had the 8th pick and got a 78 overall PF.

Signed Whiteside to control rebounds and have that defensive presence in the middle.

Made a trade for Cam Reddish.

Sitting at 3rd place with the last quarter of the schedule left.

Are you trying to be realistic or just do whatever and get him on your team ?

Your going to have to take back the bad contracts of Eric Gordon if you don't want to give up Ingram. With nothing adjusted is going to be one of the worst contracts in the game he is going to be low 70's by the end of the deal. This gets tricky as CPU will view Gordon as a positive asset when in reality he is a bad one. That's why I just control all of the teams.

I think you will have to Include Ball in the deal for sure that gives Houston a young player to build on. He also has his contract coming up which will be 15 million + range. Houston wouldn't accept a deal around Adams + Bledsoe. They wouldn't need JJ either so if you want to include him will need to get a 3rd team involved.

If you want to keep Hayes as a big you can put in Hart just would have to give more draft picks.

Yea I would ship off Gordon in a separate trade If you can find a way to make the $ worth. You will probably have to deal JJ unless their is trade exceptions were made.

I might make it a 3 way where JJ goes to a championship like 76ers (scott/bradley). The other option is a lower level playoff team looking to shed $ for next year Pacers/ Lamb or Hornets/ Rozier types.

Houston sheds the long-term $ which is important to the owner. They can now go star hunting a few years down the line with clear books. Since they didn't get a superstar in the trade it makes sense to just mostly gain cap space and 1st round picks.

Gordon can replace what JJ did with scoring off the bench for the Pelicans. Then lets say after next year they can trade one of the Lakers 1st and trade him to a bad a team. They can also upgrade to a better player with his matching salary.

His contract according to basketball reference for 23/24 is not guaranteed so I would just go and edit that year off if its not accurate on 2k

playing games 1000/1100(ifW)
letting the computer play itself 1000/1100(ifW)
simcast live 300 no matter what.



As I've said, I'm pretty sure they slowed down simcast x6 because when you put it on x1 it's super slow. It used to be like normal speed. Still, that's the best way to get vc and if you mess with sliders you can get some fun stats.



All this is assuming 12 min tho. I'm sure you still get VC, just not those numbers.

Was going to wait until the season started but decided Thanksgiving weekend to just get it going. Need something to play a bit on my PS5 (have played more than enough of the Show for 20)

Playing as my Knicks. Played about 20 games per season or so for the first 2 seasons (8 min quarters, All Star Default sliders). I have a lot of time on my hands with COVID lol. Celtics won finals year 1 against the Pelicans in 7 games.

Finished year 1 with 24 wins, got Cade 2nd overall (INFAMOUSNY draft classes are great). Signed PG13, Conley and Josh Richardson in FA. Year 2, team destroyed and we are in first in the East with 58 wins, and playing Sixers in 1st round of playoffs. I'm running:

Cade/Conley
PG13/Richardson
Barrett/Jalen Johnson (14th overall from Dallas)/PG13
Toppin/Thad Young
Mitch/Toppin/Young

With what the Bucks gave for Jrue I don't think Lonzo in the final year of his deal and two 1st gets it done. I think that trade should be 2 1st, 2 picks swaps and NOLA at least. Possibly taking Eric Gordon as well since he's considered a bad contract at this point. With that said, Gordon hated NOLA and the fans hated him so you might have to figure out a third team to send him to.
