Are you trying to upload a custom draft class in the league before or after creation? I will test this today. We are in a middle of a 58 game online league season so I havent bothered to check on this yet. Thanks for the heads up.

This is also holding up from starting my online league as well. We tried to upload a custom class at the start of the season and it just syncs with no update.

Also tried to do it in the offseason following Year 1 and got the same result.

I have tried doing it at the start of the season, with and without users in the league, and at the middle of the first season. Each and every time it just gets hung up on the “syncing recent changes”. I opened a ticket and the support team responded with troubleshooting methods but nothing works and I explained that but haven’t heard back yet.

Alright so I have an update regarding custom draft classes in online leagues, I’ve been working with 2K support and they finally got back to me with this info:




“Hey there Kevin,

Just a gentle update on your case, I can assure you that the issue has been raised internally and I am happy to say that I have just received confirmation that the developer team has been notified of this, marked it in their database, and will handle it accordingly as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, I cannot say, when and how this will be handled as on our support side we cannot see the progress of the developer team, but rest assured all possible steps have been taken on all sides to notify the appropriate people to look into this matter.”

I apologize if this is redundant, but has anyone had issues with their system (specifically Xbox Series X) shutting off during league games or games period? Not sure how to fix this and it’s extremely annoying .

This game mode is filled with so many bugs. 2K at least needs to pretend to care about this game mode.

Not a custom roster, but I’m unsure if a draft class was downloaded. I joined this league late.

Absolutely no communication regarding offline and online MyNba bugs. I had hopes a new console generation would have minimal bugs or bug fixes. Silly me

Alright so I have an update regarding custom draft classes in online leagues, I’ve been working with 2K support and they finally got back to me with this info:

Good to know they are aware and looking to patch it. This is a huge bug and renders multi season online leagues useless if we cant upload custom draft classes. Tested this last night and it crashes back to the dashboard when you try to upload a custom draft class smh.

It crashes as soon as you get past the no story lines option on upload

Any updates on what is not working? Want to start a MyNBA online with a handfull of my friends.... But we are unsure of if any of the bugs have been fixed.

Is regression/progression fixed?
CPU roster moves?
draft class uploads?
does it save your mentors, training ect?

any fixes?

I wish I had better answers, but still don't really. I will say, I'm playing in an online league right now with 20+ people, but we're still in first season. We don't really worry about the bells and whistles so we might be a bit unique, but in terms of just playing games and doing transactions etc. it's been very smooth.

In other words, as a straight up "season mode" it's been enjoyable so far, but a lot of the extras we either aren't dealing with because we just don't care, or because we know it's a bit spotty with bugs.

Please keep us updated if/when you make it the next season. Last year, me and a buddy made it to season 11 (shortened schedule) and ran into very few issues. Already used to the CPU not making mid-season roster moves from last year, but progression bugs would be a hard workaround.

We decided to start our online league about 2 weeks ago (still in year 1). We generally have a league every year and fight through the bugs, but was really looking forward to all the new “features” this year.

To answer your questions:
- regression/progression should be okay since we are using Celtic’s OS rosters with slider tweaks for progression/regression

- No, still no cpu trades. However, they did seem to actually have the rule in place where a player cannot be traded until 60 days after transaction. In a league where trades can sometimes get too heavy, it’s good to see this.


- draft class upload is still a problem. I submitted a ticket with 2kSupport and had about a good 5-6 responses of dialogue. Mentioned they submitted to the developers and they are aware of the issue. I guess it’s just a matter of time for a patch to arrive. We will probably reach an offseason in another 3-4 weeks, so hoping this can be fixed before we end up using the 2k rookies.

- mentors/training not saving is still a thing. Since online you can set timers and the commish controls when CPU games are simmed, we’ve tried a work around to have people set their training/mentors right before I sim a month of the season. I THINK this allows players to customize their training a little, but not 100% sure

- G league still doesn’t work quite well. You can send players down, but they will come back to your team within a matter of minutes.

All in all, the game is fun especially with good rosters, sliders, etc. We’ve worked around a lot of things in years past even when the Keeper League was a thing. Just happy to see some progress, but still sucks not being able to have a fully functioning online league.

Devs will be dropping the patch soon. We desperately need the custom draft class upload feature to work in this mode. A work around is to use the generated draft class and then dna over with them with the custom draft class.
