Did anyone find a answer or solution for this. Game is crashing right after half time more frequently

I have not read on a solution yet but worse yet, 2K has yet to really acknowledge the issue and state they would be working on a solution.

It's a hardware problem. It be fixed though. My console haven't crashed in a minute.

It’s a hardware and software problem if only certain software (COD and 2k) cause the issue.

Nah it’s not fixed mine crashes or freezes right after half time and there’s a bunch of players it’s happening too as well. I don’t know what it is Microsoft’s update was supposed to fix it but it’s still doing it. I use a digital download so maybe that’s it but it’s getting frustrating

Mine as been doing this since I got the new system on 11/10. I just stopped playing the game. I recently wanted to play and still couldn’t do I am sending my Xbox back for repairs. My Xbox seems to have these issues on games that are involved with the smart delivery feature. Only games that freeze and cause my console to shut down

Got this message the other day. First time ever seeing Microsoft actually acknowledge the issue on the console side. Also there’s been two system updates that have dropped in the past two weeks that seem to have stabilized the crashes.

Mine has been shutting off when I try and play against someone MyNBA online (shuts off probably 75% of the time ) and occasionally got it during practices in MyCareer.

I was plugged directly into the wall outlet and my Series X was sitting on top of the TV stand so venilation was not an issue. Tried the Xbox insider program and every other thing Microsoft listed and nothing worked. Finally bit the bullet and sent my Series X in for "repair" (we all know they're probably just sending you back a new one) yesterday.

This happened to me one game in PNO. Slightly discouraged at the fact that my console manufacture date is 12/30/2020, so it’s far from a launch console.

I’m wondering how much of a 2K issue it is compared to a Microsoft one. I recall back in the Xbox 360 days, the only game that gave me the two (not three) red rings/overheating was 2K. No other game had issues, similar to right now.

We´re running a My League Online and only the owners of a xbox x series have this problem.

And only in MYLO. Rec and MyTeam is running smoothly...it would be awesome if 2K or MS come with any solution without sending the box to MS- actually the reparation time is horrible or do you have other experiences?

Mine started happening again. Dropped 2 PNO games this weekend...maybe NBA 2K runs the machine too hard? Personally, I'm not sending in my console in for repairs, because this is the only game that it happens in.

Okay...I'm 100% convinced it's the game. I attempted to play ONE game of PNO while on my lunch break, and the game crashed my X-Box in the 3rd quarter. NBA 2K needs to patch this. I was playing Control: Ultimate Edition for HOURS this weekend, and not a single freeze or crash.

It's sad...there are going to be people sending in their consoles thinking it was the console when it was really the game the entire time.

I guess that's good news for Microsoft, because they avoid another RROD situation. Bad news for NBA 2K, because they're lowkey heading into that Cyberpunk territory. When people and the media start figuring it out, Take Two is about to catch hell. I do believe that my XBSX is throwing off a tremendous amount of heat (will check the next time I play) when compared to other games I play...basically, my XBSX is doing what it was designed to do...turn off.

Once I run some tests and REALLY pay attention to what's happening, I might have to demand a refund, because this is a TRUE definition that the game is unplayable. I'm not going to keep playing the game if it's putting unnecessary wear and tear on my $500 console therefore shorten its lifespan.

I’m having the same issue, but surprisingly it seems to happen when I’m playing offline due to my horrible internet service provider (Cox). When I’m connected through Ethernet with stable internet it’s fine. I also have the digital copy.

So, any update from 2K at all on this? Months after release and the game is still unplayable.
