This can’t be a Microsoft issue anymore. It’s a 2k problem. I have had several members in my online league send their boxes to Microsoft only to have Microsoft return those very same boxes claiming they are fixed. And yet these shut offs continue. I’ve noticed that these only happen on the series X . They never happen on the S version. I don’t think 2k21 is properly optimized for the series x unfortunately.

I am also on the series x, now I have not had this issue. I have another issue. Background I had now played the game for a couple of months. The game had an an update a few weeks back. So I let it update. After the update I went to play and noticed all my city jerseys were gone. So I noticed in the main it said to connect. So I tried to connect and it started trying to synchronize my local data with 2k. After about a couple of minutes it said could synchronize data with my gamer card. Now this is the same gamer card I used to purchase the game. I tried a few times. So I uninstalled the game and then reinstalled the game. After reinstall action I am back at the same point content still missing. I can play the game. But on two occasions my career saves have corrupted. This game is just screwed. Any thought or has anyone had these issues?

After searching I finally figured out how to fix this issue. I deleted my save game data and gamer card data. Took my Xbox offline, and did a hard reset of the console then I was able to restart console and game. Took about 40 minutes then the game updated and that brought back city jerseys as well as updated the rosters.

Not even just a 2K issue, had my 360 do the same thing the other day playing NCAA 14

My 2k on ps4 and PS5 are crashing too. I can’t play head to head games in play now.

I was able to play disconnecting the PS5 console from the internet. The moment I connected again, it crashed. So you can play head to head without internet.
