I feel that Scott OG leaving is something to look out for. I tend to pay attention to these guys because I think they're good dudes. However, I've noticed over the years they seem very unhappy with the companies direction. Czar isn't anywhere near as active as he was just 3 years ago. Mike Wang has been in a constant battle trying to mend the SIM and casual communities together since he sadly introduced green releases in 2K15 (Ain't happening btw).

I remember when Mike left EA right after live 10. 11 years later... I definitely see why. This has me really wondering why OG left. Maybe it could be the massive bag EA is offering up. I don't know. But what I do know is that people typically don't leave comfy situations for the hell of it. I think the next 5 years is going to be very interesting.

Yeah... Pretty sure he could've been more transparent about things without throwing scott under the bus. That's not what I personally believe this is about. He spoke on defense in the past and I'm pretty sure Scott was still working on that section of the game then. It hasn't changed enough for Czar to have a totally different opinion on it now vs 3 or so years ago. So what really changed?

Look I don't know what's in these guys contracts. Nobody knows what's going on really except the people involved. I'm just stating why I can see has changed over the last 5 years. Communication is at an all-time low and this year wasn't a first. It's been headed here for a bit now.

But they didn’t make a bad product this year..... it’s arguably one of the best products they’ve made yet........ there will always be shortcomings and mistakes........ perfection is not attainable in this world as there’s limitations and always will be........ so does the reaction this year really fit the crime? This only applies at the small scale. Corporations couldn't give two ****s if you take your business elsewhere. You need them more than they need you.

Whatever money an individual spends - it's completely insignificant to the bottom line. You're never going to McDonalds or Walmart again? Oh no, how will they ever recover?
Businesses at this scale already know they can't please everyone. It's an accepted loss. If corporations kowtowed to every bad actor, nobody would have a job longer than a month.

Large businesses/corporations care about specific people - INFLUENCERS - people who could shift masses of people.

Hmm how's the once #1 selling basketball game, NBA Live doing these days? Hmm I'm pretty sure they got to a point where they went full arcade and didn't listen to the negative feedback. How'd that go for them?This isn't just "a few individuals" who don't like the product, it's been growing with more and more people realizing the product is sub-par. That IS a business problem for 2K, especially since it's reaching those 'influencers' that I guess are so important.

Not sure if I explained this, but the entire game is arcade based. Yes every mode. Rec is Arcade. Pro Am is Arcade. My Team is Arcade. My Career is arcade because you have to score 50ppg due to dumb AI. Hell even Play Now is arcade. We want ONLINE SIM gameplay.

Tell, what part of the game is SIM, because from the looks of things, we have to effectively avoid 80% of the game to get a SIM experience.

Then that’s a fundamental failure on 2K as an organisation. This is NBA 2K. Not NBA playgrounds or NBA streets. People will make excuses for anything when it comes to 2K smh. No mode on this game should be as arcadey as it is, period.

I honestly think you guys agree lol.

He has a point that you even kind of say, you play with sim style sliders. Without those can you agree offline MyNBA kinda plays arcade? I think I would honestly have to agree with him. I'm just glad there are sliders that can make it sim.

Whether it be Pro Am/Park/Rec-

These are modes where you can take several 99 OVR players with 99 three point ratings inflated with badge boosts and play each other.

That's not a take, an excuse, or anything else you want to call it...thats a fact.

You're only going to get so much 'SIM' out of that particular experience because of the very nature of the mode.

I play all those modes. Do I agree with that design choice? I don't, do I think things could be more balanced regardless of the make up of the mode? Sure....but that's the reality right now.
