Some of you all need to take a chill pill or take a long break from the game and its forums.

Ehh not entirely...... the game plays pretty good minus the defensive issues this year........ I think the sliders that I’ve tweaked this year were far less drastic as a whole than some other years....... the simple fact is if u play online against others (probably kids) u can throw sim basketball out the window

That's not a take, an excuse, or anything else you want to call it...thats a fact.

You're only going to get so much 'SIM' out of that particular experience because of the very nature of the mode.

I play all those modes. Do I agree with that design choice? I don't, do I think things could be more balanced regardless of the make up of the mode? Sure....but that's the reality right now.

This is to all of you:

Ya'll keep trying to tell us what modes should be sim and what modes shouldn't. "Only offline can be sim". "You play online, you can't expect realism". That defeatist status quo mentality is exactly why this game has gone down hill when it comes to gameplay balance and realism. "You play online in those 'arcade' modes so you can only expect NBA Jam... it's your fault for expecting sim when the community is casual". "Just use sliders". Foh.

Pro-Am at minimum is an esport, some nba 2k leaguers got paid 6 figures to play it professionally. You think the pro-am community shouldn't expect a skill gap because it's an "online" mode. 2K alone controls the skill gap and sim environment. I could gaf how casuals want to play, the question is are they being rewarded for it. When you have 75% of the community spamming Curry slides and fade 3's, uuummm I think we have a problem. But damn, according to you I can't say anything about realism 'cause it's an "online mode" so "just suck it up and don't buy the game or don't complain about the game because 'negative feedback = bad' even though we're on a forum. Also don't call out the Devs because they're angels and we should keep supporting this pay to play scam/monopoly with our mouths shut. Lmao & smh

Scroll up. I already gave a list of reasons. And on top of that, that's a piss poor argument. "Just don't buy the game". Please take that approach vs everything. Make sure that any product you buy, you have zero opinion on it and never leave a negative review on amazon etc.

Well when I go to the local YMCA or park IRL, I'd say that about half the people there are spamming Curry moves for 20 seconds. There's no passing whatsoever. It's basically an And1 mix tape. Because that's what all pickup games are, they're And1 mixtapes. Like the rules of basketball aren't even applied. Even if it's vs college level competition or serious players, everyone is out there doing And1 moves. Because after all, it's STREET BALL, so that means that it's basically prison rules. You can tackle people, you can travel 10 steps, there's 4 pt plays. I mean, 'cause it's STREET BALL. Even gravity is different. I've seen guys on the court who are athletic (they probably have a 99 vertical rating), I've seen them literally jump 50 feet in the air. And then when someone makes 3 shots in the row, someone gets a lighter and they light the ball on fire. Also every single player out there is sporting Jordans and all decked out in the latest accessories. It's basically a fashion show. 'Cause I mean, it' STREET BALL.

To be fair, I do agree that Pro-Am and REC should relatively be a sim experience and the unrealistic gameplay should be left in the Park.

This isn't really a bold stance here. In fact, it makes it a bit hard to take any of it seriously.

Its one thing to consistently disagree with the direction 2K is going gameplay wise. Hell I purchased Madden every year up until '18, because I love football. So I get that to a degree...and of course you should give that feedback accordingly.

but why would you actively support a company that you think is scamming you? or all of the other things you've said about 2K as a company. Like, that goes beyond "loving basketball" right?

That's crazy to me. You said keep that energy toward every company? I know I do. If I think a company is seedy/shady or scamming me its a wrap for me.
