Well when I go to the local YMCA or park IRL, I'd say that about half the people there are spamming Curry moves for 20 seconds. There's no passing whatsoever. It's basically an And1 mix tape. Because that's what all pickup games are, they're And1 mixtapes. Like the rules of basketball aren't even applied. Even if it's vs college level competition or serious players, everyone is out there doing And1 moves. Because after all, it's STREET BALL, so that means that it's basically prison rules. You can tackle people, you can travel 10 steps, there's 4 pt plays. I mean, 'cause it's STREET BALL. Even gravity is different. I've seen guys on the court who are athletic (they probably have a 99 vertical rating), I've seen them literally jump 50 feet in the air. And then when someone makes 3 shots in the row, someone gets a lighter and they light the ball on fire. Also every single player out there is sporting Jordans and all decked out in the latest accessories. It's basically a fashion show. 'Cause I mean, it' STREET BALL.

This isn't really a bold stance here. In fact, it makes it a bit hard to take any of it seriously.

Its one thing to consistently disagree with the direction 2K is going gameplay wise. Hell I purchased Madden every year up until '18, because I love football. So I get that to a degree...and of course you should give that feedback accordingly.

but why would you actively support a company that you think is scamming you? or all of the other things you've said about 2K as a company. Like, that goes beyond "loving basketball" right?

That's crazy to me. You said keep that energy toward every company? I know I do. If I think a company is seedy/shady or scamming me its a wrap for me.

Yup I haven't purchased Madden since 11

Hated the direction it was going in and haven't looked back
..still check every year to see if its improved,but other than that...I won't support a product I'm dissatisfied with

Abandoned may not be the correct word but they definitely are silent.

I'm only talking about roster updates, we all know DEFENSE needs an update.

I just want a roster update on players that has been in the league for at least 3 years, Wanamaker.

There are about 10 pair of shoes that should've been added to the game.

Can they please patch or allow us to add headbands OMG?

There are about 15 players that need their face updated not to mention about 20 players hairstyles that changed/updated.

Some of you have clearly let this franchise drive you insane. I hate to be "that guy" but really people... If you dislike the game so much then just don't buy or play it.

Some of you have bought the game 5 years straight and still you claim it's trash every year? That's insane! At this point It would probably be in your best interest to just lie and say you like it even if you don't just to save face.

It's a game. Weather it's it's sucky or great it's still just a game. Just play it... or don't... It really doesn't matter tbh. But please don't come here and crap on others opinion of the game just because it doesn't line up with yours.

Bro let's be real your AVERAGE gamer isn't playing sim ball or heck even calling plays in game...they are picking the Warriors and trying to shoot 3s all game with steph curry because that's their favorite player....its been this way since the evolution of basketball video games...The only thing I can tell you is find a group of people that like to play sim,buddy up, and start an online league together....2k does give you a choice to play the game how you want(Sim/Arcade) I have to give them that...but if you're looking to play randoms online and expecting Sim ...good luck...that's with any online sports game

The problem isn't even the average gamer, they don't know any better. The problem is 2K making the game as accessible as possible. SIM players are minority.

2K would be better off release 2 basketball games, NBA street and NBA 2k for SIM heads.

Not sure how this devolved into a arcade v. sim argument. It's a strawman argument based on the idea that the only reason to complain is because people who want sim gameplay don't like the direction of the game.

Even if you were to accept that the online modes are 'arcade' they aren't even good arcade. They aren't fun. A good arcade experience is going to require consistency, no exploits, and the ability for everyone who is playing to have fun. None of that is true of 2K21 next gen online right now.

It's funny you mention Mass Effect.

It's my favorite franchise of all time. I'm on like, my 5th playthrough and will probably play through it again once the remaster comes out.

but I, like many, thought Andromeda wasn't up to par. The series will have to earn my purchase of back at this point....and if I felt as though I was ripped off somehow?....Well me and Commander Shepard had a good run, I wouldn't even entertain the remaster.

I know everyone doesn't think how I do, but that choice is a no brainer for me personally.
