    Definitely agree with this post. I started out excited with Next Gen. I still believe there’s the skeleton of a great game here. All these little glitches were present at launch and I was confident they’d be cleaned up in short order. 2.5 months later and it feels like very little has been fixed. I have personal issues with the way the game is balanced (I.E. Too many contact dunks, PF builds, fades etc.) but for all I know that’s “as intended”. But these glitches, bugs and bad coding are just sloppy and to still have them this long after launch comes off as lazy.

      This is really the reason why I don't mess with this series much anymore. Any time I actually pay the full price for the game it makes me feel like I'm rewarding them for their bad habits, so I only play them when they're ridiculously cheap or free.

      Don't know how many actually remember, but I used to do rosters and rookie ratings each year about 10-15 years ago. Also made the first big draft classes when they introduced the feature. Even though I still have the desire to do that sort of stuff, I don't even bother because of how much the series has declined in quality. There is no reason to do that sort of thing anymore if you have no desire to even play the game itself because of how broken and messy it is.

      I really hope another competitor rises up so that they get their **** straight. Never thought I'd see the day where I'd be hoping for NBA Live to make a come back.

        Duuude, good thing I don't gaf what you think and most of what you say has zero basis in reality or proof. Are you sure you're not on 2K's payroll?

          Yup I think that's the key thing 2K has lost -- trust by the sim community to give them the benefit of the doubt. Idk either if it's what they intended. I think the only metric they're following is sales, VC sales, and youtubers. Gameplay quality is an afterthought, and who knows what type of gameplay they're going for. The eye ball test seems to show they're ok going full arcade.

          Really hope there's an NBA Live 22 just for competition. If I was them, I'd 100% differentiate myself from 2K by pushing 1) Simulation basketball 2) VR 3) Less microtransactions 4) Better matchmaking 5) Discounted game

          There's an opportunity there for NBA Live.

              His qualifications are, like the rest of us, he lives in 2020 and we all know what technology can be achieved in 2020. These are easy fixes for a multi million dollar company who makes more money today from microtransactions than they ever have before.

              It's not a matter of if they CAN, it's a matter of if they WANT to. In a number of different ways, it's becoming more and more obvious that 2K's focus is on the bells and whistles rather than even fixing obvious flaws in the fundamentals.

              I’m convinced you’d rather whine than play the game.......

                Yeah, all EA would have to do is... stop being the company they've been the last 30 years LMAO

                  I only wish more people would be willing to break the conditioning, be honest with themselves, and be willing to walk away from a product (not just 2k but any product) that no longer satisfies them instead of continuing to give them money and complaining the whole time.Even if sweeping change never happens, I think you'll find that you'll be happier in the long run.

                    Feedback = "whine", got it.

                    Maybe you should ask yourself why you go into these complaint threads just to try to be the feedback police and defend 2K like a fan boy. Ik Realinsiders 2K's biggest fanboy, but is Beluba your dad too? If people want to make complaint threads, wtf do you care? It's a FORUM. You don't even play Rec / Pro Am, so you're talking out your ***. So go back to spending 10 hrs adjusting sliders and playing the static CPU so the game finally plays right.

                          Well i can only speak for my Part, but my nba online League is the Biggest Hobby that i have besides playing Real Basketball. i joined a League 11 years ago and we continuously manage the Teams since then with a cba like ruleset. this and all the people There is so great, much of my free time is spend with this Hobby, talking possible trades, planning the New season and auch. Problem is, we need a Basketball game for playing the actual games, or all the "side Stuff" is unnecesary.
                          so i can Either decide to stop the Biggest Hobby i have where the Most fun comes in the community and Team building interaction or I can have all of that and live with a game that gets worse and worse every year.

                                The lies you tell! I took some computer programming classes in high school and college. Have you ever tried to go through 1000s of lines of computer coding to find a "simple problem"? That crap is NOT easy. In fact, I rather have large parts of the program fail versus trying to find those 1-3 lines to fix a "simple problem". That's real talk. I can't imagine trying to troubleshoot "simple problems" when it comes to game development.

                                Da Czar does a GREAT job of explaining this in his videos. On the surface, it could be an "simple problem", but it could be a pain the *** to find the problem, then you don't know how the "fix" can impact other areas of the game.
