It is absolutely insane that they had every team's PA announcer record the name of every player in the NBA in multiple cadences. That's an absurd level of attention to detail.

Like, I said that if they could also drastically improve crowd noise/sounds, that would go a long way. Crowd Noise was one area of presentation I felt was really lacking. With the hype of 3D Audio, there is definitely a several notches they could go from where it was. I just want it to feel like you actually in a NBA stadium, not someone playing crowd noise over a tape recorder

I remember me, Dre and few other posters here used to always rant about the crowd every year and I figured it improved from 2K11 to now, lol

The weirdest thing to me is that 2K has crowd stuff in the game that I've never heard from an actual NBA crowd, like singing "If You're Happy And You Know It" down the stretch of a blowout and chanting "Threeeeeeeee!" on three-point attempts.

All we need is crowd noise and better crowd reaction and presentation is ???? percent solid. This is a big win though.

I didn't play 2k20 or 2k21 CG, but it almost felt like they transferred CG Crowd Sounds to NG. Even at 100 with headset, it still feels so flat. I only been to a live game once couple years ago, and I can still remember that atmosphere.

That and adding Arena music. They don't have to get licensed tracks(though they can use tracks from soundtrack), but adding those would add to the atmosphere

I'd have to believe they wouldn't let Mason (Detroit) out of the booth without dropping a "B-B-B-Ben Wallace", "ChaunCEY B-B-Billups", and a "Rip Hahhhhhmilton".

Things like custom P.A.'s are the types of small, seemingly insignificant details that end up reeling me in. Yes, gameplay always takes precedent, but innovation, customization, and authentication is a lot of fun, too. Half of the fun of playing The Show for the first time this year is just enjoying all the little things that make me say, "Wow, I can't believe they thought of that."

All we need is custom music in game for the arena and we're good. Can't remember which 2k had that option but it was great.

Kings Announcer has been answering questions about it on Twitter all day (@AnnouncerScott) and he says that all announcers did every name in multiple different ways, so when a player changes team, their name will be announced correctly.

This is pretty cool and not something I was expecting at all. This is something that will help more to fell like you are in a different place all the time.
