Ok I do not know what you did but for sure coach confidence/trust to 100 does not change anything.

This interface is horrible.
You cannot go past 1 page of playcall (takes too long and expose to mistakes with ball) and if you add that you cannot change plays assigned to a player (outside of editing the player) this makes playcall in 2k22 impossible.

On top of that the fact the game ignores series/freelance selection makes our day just hectic killing all the great addition they made.
You must die with the 2 or 3 play ACE will generously call for you.

I hope they will patch this. They must.

It doesn’t revert back to old interface. My issue was I not able to bring up any menu whats so ever cause my relationship was low. I had to have the cpu do every play for me and make my subs there was no way I could. I think I misunderstood what you were saying

It’s definitely does need to revert back to the old system due to all of the reasons that you said. It would make sense in my league, but in quick play it’s more of a headache than it’s worth since you don’t have access to things like setting rotations and things of that nature. Overall it was terrible change I think it’s safe to say no one wanted it.

Definitely, an unwanted changed. They need to go back to how they had it back in 2K21.

Yeah I dont like it at all. Dont understand why they changed what didnt need to be changed. I cant call plays while walking up court now. Have to use the d pad

Yea in MyNBA it’s really frustrating. I can set the play calling to auto but auto runs the same 4 plays all game and makes it really difficult to score. I’m bad enough as it is. I really like the game but this is beyond frustrating

Try picking run set offense as your offensive gameplan. That has been working ok for me.

Yeah, we definitely need the old menus back. I don't know why I thought this new change was cool at first. They were basically trying to remove the menu ui where you had to page over to see the next set of options. It sounded good in theory, but it definitely sucks having to click down through the options before getting to the one that you want.

Is the drive out of post the same on PS4 as usual or did they change it to having to use the right stick like in Xbox series S?

I really need to know who idea was it to change this?? This game is great but this change is terrible. This game was a 9 to me but because of this drops it to a 7. I heard they can not patch this but this is a major failure. This needs patched asap no reason we have to wait for 2k23. They had this feature for over 10 years. Out of nowhere they change it is a joke and disrespect.. Great game but change it to the way it used to be. And take bench plays out also..

So we have to buy NBA2K23 and hoping the OTF play calling menu will be intuitive again?

I must stop my player movement for seconds and forced working with the D-pad. Einstein 2K confirmed!

OTF should be moved to clicking in the right stick (R3), then selections being made via face buttons and not “d-pad + A/X”. Add combos so that something like L1 + R3 brings up substitutions, L2 + R3 brings up plays, R1 + R3 is points of emphasis, etc.

Then you’d never have to take your thumb off LS and can continue playing.

But I’m hearing they left it the way it suppose to be for current gen? Current gen users let me know if it’s the same menu or not. The problem is not alot of users call plays etc so most won’t complain about this smh..

To clarify this happens to you in MyNBA correct? Because I can’t seem to figure out why I can call plays and make subs in exhibition game. But for some reason I can’t do it in my franchise. Added with the combination that broadcast camera is gone is extremely frustrating.

There is a work around to get the camera angles back by pausing and going to player lock (turn on) and then change your cameras. Then turn player lock off.
