I just don't understand how they could go backwards in this area. Like the way it was before it worked for years. Why change it?

2 new games in 2 years that i would have liked to say but we know the reverse trend. Exact opposite because we don't pay full price for the game right!?

I get a feeling this change was done on purpose. They knew they would get backlash. But the crowd would be so small they could by pass it. I mean why else would they change something that has worked for the last like 5-6 years

Ugh...got to the end of this thread hoping for someone to post a message saying the developers are aware of the problem and will address in a future patch.

I'm SOOOOOOOOO pissed. I just got a PS5 this week after a long and frustrating search. I only wanted it to play NBA 2K22's "PLAY ONLINE WITH FRIENDS" feature. 99% of my time on 2K is playing my friends online, adjusting the quarter length and difficulty. I can't believe this isn't available in the PS5 version, a version that costs more money! How can you lose a feature like that on the PS5? You would think there would be MORE options for this mode, not less (and not a removal of critical components of making that mode enjoyable). I was excited for a few minutes when I saw you could edit the uniforms and line up before playing, but that quickly went away when I realized you can't adjust from 5:00 quarters and ROOKIE difficulty. ROOKE!?!? Are you kidding me? Not that this was as big of a deal, but the losing the ability to talk to your friend while picking teams was also a disappointment.

I can't believe I wasted so much time searching for a PS5 and dropped over $700 on a bundle only to get a game that isn't playable for me.

Game developers always sabotage pr neglect a game mode to channel.players to the "money" modes in hopes of generating more revenue..its a dirty game .

I didn’t want to believe this but with it not being fixed by now and not even being talked about by the developers acknowledging the problem and a fix coming I think unfortunately you might be right. SMH
