It completely changed but it might have been the roster update to. Before a few days ago on default all star I couldn't score and I found both me and the CPU couldn't get past players of the dribble and that even big slow guys could defend smaller faster guys on the outside. I had put lateral quickness and on ball defense at 40 and was seeing much better results. Then the patch/roster update came out and now both me and CPU get past defenders much easier had to turn on ball defense and lateral quickness up now have them at 47 and starting to think 48 might be a good number. 48 seems to play how 40 played before.

I keep forgetting that roster updates can impact "gameplay" per se.

Yeah I don't know if the roster update changed players speed and on ball defense ratings or what just know it's a lot different the way it plays then before night and day difference.

You have to factor in the users that say it and then look at the theme of all their posts…… it’s very obvious what their agenda is……. I say it a lot but social media (specifically Twitter) has hurt gaming tremendously IMO

2K could release a patch that literally changes a font a screen and all of Reddit and Twitter will be screaming the gameplay has changed.

It’s completely placebo, nothing changed. This is the most Chicken Little, sky is falling bull**** I’ve ever come across.

Wouldn’t it be convenient to package into a cute little comfort box to think everyone who said gameplay changed is some crazed 2K opposer that offends your delicate sensibilities.

Instead it’s long time users. Many saying it changed for the better, and many saying it didn’t. Fact is something clearly changed.

Wouldn’t it be convenient to package into a cute little comfort box to think everyone who said gameplay changed is some crazed 2K opposer that offends your delicate sensibilities.

After patch I continued my already started MyNBA(with the release day rosters) and perimeter D is noticeably looser.

Oh but how could that be. 2K said no gameplay changes. You must be imagining things. 2K would never lie. It must be something else. Maybe you’re nuts. Maybe you’re just hate the company. Maybe you’re a Live operative. Maybe forgetting to put broadcast in MyNBA is part of their genius adventure to take us on. Maybe putting a simple camera back into a mode is extremely complex and time consuming but changing the gameplay that DEFINITELY isn’t changed because we’re all imagining things is so easy they can do it twice a week.

Back to real life. Yes. You’re right. And it isn’t the “rosters.” It’s the gameplay. They changed the gameplay. They said they didn’t. But they did. They said broadcast would take time to put in because it’s “offline” but they’ve made 2-3 offline gameplay changes.

Pointing it out doesn’t mean we have a vendetta against 2K. Maybe just maybe we’re not “imagining things,” but instead pointing out clear patterns within the company.

The thing is, opinions are being respected. Good, bad and otherwise folks have a different opinion on the game. You and AIRJ23 aren't the only folks who dont like the game for God's sake. You two are just aggravating as hell about it and repeat the same droll over and over and over in every thread. You're gonna find a way to shoehorn your grievances into everything. At which point do you realize it just may not be for you and come back later after a patch or next year even? You returned the game, correct? Your issue hasn't been addressed yet. But you're here more than the folks who own the game, for one, and the folks who enjoy the freaking game. What could you possibly add to the discussion? It's on me, though. I'll use common sense and utilize the block function to keep from seeing any more of you and your buddy's incessant whining.

Funny thing is the 2K fellowship are “annoyed” with us pointing out inconsistencies and messes with this launch, yet nobody is telling you to stop enjoying the game. Nor are you being told blind praise is “annoying.”

We still got no broadcast on MyNBA! They said no gameplay changes but anyone with a pulse knows that’s BS! They said offline changes need to go through weeks of development and/or approval yet they clearly changed offline gameplay. This ain’t that complicated lmao.

Too bad for the company everyone doesn’t follow the “if you don’t like it, you can leave” mentality. Since going out on the street and yelling” “where’s my broadcast and stop nerfing defense, 2K!” isn’t a good look, a forum uhhhh.. dedicated to the game will have to do.

First of all, it's not "blindly praising" if you're actually playing and experiencing the game for yourself. Second of all, I haven't seen one person on this forum not give some sort of criticism or point out flaws in the game. If I were you I would just stop playing because it's clearly becoming an unhealthy obsession at this point

Because of 2k, I learned to not pre-order video games. I agree that no broadcast cam is a big deal but I also don't have the game.

I haven't been completely satisfied with a 2k game in a long time. I feel most of the people who complain every year are day one buyers. I just don't understand why people keep buying on day one if they're unsatisfied every year.

I'll probably actually end up getting this game but not until it goes on sale or I can get it used or something. Not paying $60+

Anyway, that's all I'll say. This thread is getting off topic
