Re: NBA 2K22 Patch 1.8 Available For All Consoles - Patch Notes

[QUOTE=AIRJ23;2050516884]MUST DO for this new update.

Lower all speed/acceleration with ball ratings 5 points (max at 65, min at 35). Then raise MIN speed/acceleration without ball 5 points (to 40). Seems to help some. Player speed with ball is stupid fast after the update. Might even need to lower it some more.

I haven’t rose MAX speed without ball yet as I’m not sure I need players running faster on court as much as I need guys with ball to slow down

This is interesting because I literally see no difference in the max or min with the ball sliders if I put the speeds at 0 or 100. Now with the slider without the ball actually works when you adjust it but the slider with the ball in hand has been broken for a couple of years now in 2k.

But I went back to 2k19 recently and the sliders worked as they were supposed to if I had it at 100 the speed difference was extremely noticeable compared to at the normal 70, and at zero it was basically un playable, this isn't the case on today's game I'm on PS5 don't know if that makes a difference or not.

Great. Another broken slider. Maybe it’s placebo then. It seemed to make players less erratically fast but maybe I was just imagining that. I did still beat guys to the rim but felt maybe more hip riding.

After the update I can literally just turbo with anyone to the rim. So dumb. Back to 2K21 gameplay we are.

I’m hoping they’ll do one of their updates and scale the Blow bys down a tad since they refuse to allow help defense lol

We can hope. But then I’ll have to change all my sliders again lmao. I just want them to stop touching gameplay at some point. Feeling like a new game every update gets exhausting. If they can just nerf blow by’s again I’m fine. Add help D back and it’s ideal.

Lower speed and stamina while raising the computers (attributes not movement slider) and youll see a competitive game. you might see wonky **** like I had Curry obstructing Aldridge’s layup on a PNR play. It seems odd but hey it prevents PNR to be cheesey and make it more unpredictable.

I know they nerfed defense but damnnnn !! Cant get a chasedown block to save my life anymore...and before i was just all over all breaks i used to get snatch blocks and blocks against the backboard but now my blocking is non-existent! They ruined defense for real but people are able to shoot 3s consistently even when contested.

I have fun in the rec thats the only mode i play but the OP 3s and lack of defense is killing it right now

Does anyone know why the art page was deleted?

                    Patch notes don’t change…

Please don’t up the thread for this.

                    Just causes confusion.

Why is stating the facts so wrong??

It’s stating a fact that’s equivalent to saying “The sky isn’t orange”…While true, it adds nothing.

A thread about patch notes that took place over 3 weeks ago isn’t going to be lively.
