NBA 2K23 Jordan Challenge Details and Features Revealed

Well, if I had any doubts about preordering the game this just put them to rest. Worth it for this mode alone. If the gameplay improvements are as good as they sounded in the gameplay blog then we can be looking at an all time great 2k.

Definitely sounds awesome and will be checking that out. I wonder if you will have to reach certain objectives like in WWE 2K to unlock stuff ?

The other thing … NOBODY was wearing 2k generics!! Did they really do it?!? Did they really give players era correct shoes!?

YO! I didn't even peep that on my 1st 10 times watching the trailer lol. If they finally eliminated generics that would be awesome! No more spending hours of updating shoes in roster editor lol.

I just placed my preorder. I usually wait until the day 2K drops the MyNBA blog to put money down to show my support for franchise mode in whatever metric 2K uses to make decisions. This Jordan mode legit got me excited for 2K23.

Damn you 2K!!! I had to go preorder 2K23 this morning after reading this. LOL. The Jordan challenge looks to be pretty sweet. Glad to see it looks like they are FINALLY going to improve on the classic players models, gameplay, tendencies, ect. This is the most hyped I've been to get NBA2K probably in the past 4 years. I still remember as a little kid watching that shoot out he and Dominique Wilkins had in 1990, it was one of the game that got me hooked on playing basketball. Glad to see they put that as one of the challenges.

This is 2k11 on STEROIDS. Wow. Incredible! Off the top I noticed new models for Stockton, Ewing, Pippen…. Curious to see what Shaq looking like. Also really hoping these retro filters, scoreboards, arena logos, scorers tables (etc) are available/present outside of the mode. That Celtics arena is crazy

Well I guess they weren't lying about how smooth animation were looking this year!! Very fluid.

+1 for the crowd (hopefully sound as good as they look)

Sorry but they're still in there. Way less than usual but I seen a player on the Celtics and Jazz with them. I'm excited to see Nike Air on the Jordan 3s and 5s tho, hopefully the 4s too. Right now everything is looking on the up and up and is a guaranteed day 1 purchase. Double dipping around Black Friday for PS5!

PLEASE let us use the filters and gameplay stuff in other game modes (Play Now, MyNBA). This sounds amazing and that would just be the cherry on top.
