Still no generated draft class update? its been exactly the same for 4 YEARS! The same 7'3 monster center or amazing 6'7 point guard. Same wild hair styles. Whats the point of auto generate if the classes so horrible? Smh

Fouls looking VERY good on HoF.

Free throws also slightly more challenging to make. Slightly.

Ohh really!? It's been ages since we play FT game in 2k. How i miss fouling for the latest possesion, the drama was just gone.. Is it really back to what it was?

Man thanks for all you do. A few questions:

Will the modern era double MJ (or anyone) if he gets hot, or is there something we can do to get those doubles in the modern era like we see in the 90’s era?

Also is there a way to edit the help defense levels in the roster tuning section, or is that something that has to be done each game?

Last question is, if I want more of a brick wall on drives, will turning up “body sensitivity” do that? And would I turn up the user or CPU body sensitivity to make drives harder for me? Thanks again for your work.

Is the Day 1 patch available already or will that go live tomorrow? Wondering if things could change overnight.

If the Day 1 patch isn't live, I wonder if Czar can give us a heads up on what to look out for....

PS. Just wanted to mention that the delay is scaled based on defensive ratings but not game difficulty. Also and offensive player with clamp breaker vs a defender without clamps is basically an open door some drives you are getting vs poor defenders will not have the same outcomes as vs great on-ball defenders so who is guarding you, will also make a difference.

My initial thoughts are I think you could for sure tighten this (AI defensive delay reactions) up a bit. That was one thing I noticed immediately. Defenders have a delay stuck in mud reaction at times which leaves a player well past them. I upped the cpu on ball up to 90 and 100 in body up sensitivity as well as up to 85 in lateral quickness and I’m still beating Jrue Holiday & Kyle Lowry pretty easy on HOF. The open window/cone can allow it with less contact so I don’t think that will lead to over the top brick walls at all. The explosiveness of the offense is great so the delay defensively isn’t needed as much. Just my .02

Great to know. I played a few play now games before and after seeing this post and after editing each teams help defense slider its night and day. Help was coming super fast. Slider seems sensitive this year which is great! Thanks! I think these two tuning things will change the easy drives. The pnr is great though! Hedge defender really stepping up to contain & stopping the ball on the drop coverage. I’ve had some really nice snake dribbles for some sweet mid range pulls with Chris Paul.

These large hot and cold icons kill immersion. We need to be able to turn these off or have a smaller icon. I struggled to enjoy 2k20 because of the green release bug and those large takeover icons that we couldn’t turn off.

I’ve seen tons of fouls where I actually turned the shooting foul slider down a bit. Lol definitely getting fouls in a good way.

Yup they’re way too delayed in standard defense settings to me. When you adjust body up sensitivity to make driving harder for US as the user, do you adjust user or cpu body up sensitivity?

Really? Not to easy for you to beat AI defenders every time? Or leave them behind you? A simple create space and explode burns them because of the delay. Not complaining just think it can be tuned tighter.

Okay what the hell is "shot timing release time" in controller settings?!

Go look at this thread and all Eccentrics testing in his signature. Great info for all sliders he has tested over the years.

Also, it seems like they increased backcourt fouls after a defensive rebound. I'll have to check the NBA rules, but the game is calling "transition fouls" which is one shot and possession. That should limit steal spamming. Lastly, you have to be careful about launching out of triple threat moves. I actually got called for 4...yes 4...traveling violations in one game.
Wait, so there’s no option to just press square and shoot this year? I don’t really like using the shot stick all that much
