Maybe I'm playing a different game. Full court passes are back. Literally everyone I play, it's just a paint fest. Just constant drives to the basket. If anyone can show me how to stop the spin move it would be greatly appreciated. I use to be angle to use angles and cause directions which would give body ups or even a charge. That doesn't even work anymore so everyone is just slithery. The one thing that I admired so much about the game was the onball defense. 21 next gen was the best to me.

Atheist you had a mixture of drivers and shooters in 22. Now it's just strictly drives and paint shots from the users I've played. And on top of all that I'm just sick of greens and badges. It's just full of gimmick in my opinion.


Is Scott O even there anymore? They just abandoned the mode altogether. Sad

The game is fine. It's the lack of innovation for the mode that's killing it. They just need to unlock all the teams and call it a night. If it were me, I would probably play it significantly more if I could use the Classic Pacers from the start. I'm tired of the grind of unlocking the team. I hate it even more when I have a bad streak, where I have to unlock them again.

The spin drop step? Hit X just as they’re spinning. It’ll get you a push or sometimes a strip depending on the defender

I wish they would move the difficulty to Superstar for this mode. It’d make a huge difference as far as paint mashing goes

The game/mode is already trash but yet the find little things every year to make it more trash ?? Lol. This game is in a league of its own.

Do I have to pull the NBA Live card right now……jeez…..lol.

The scary part is that they're going to review the data at some point, and they're going to adjust the shooting to "promote" outside shooting.

This was one of my games. I only lost, because I had 3 turnovers in a row where I was passing the ball, but the AI cut to the basket at the last possible moment.

The scary part is that they're going to review the data at some point, and they're going to adjust the shooting to "promote" outside shooting.

It’s crazy to me that I have posts of 2K17 that look like this as well… they probably haven’t touched the sliders since then I’m assuming. It’s so disappointing to see. It’s also mind boggling to me that people enjoy playing this way.

I remember there being a weird glitch that showed the Head to Head sliders in the past which had everything at 50. Would it really be that hard for them to change some of that?

Honestly, I really don't mind this change. It felt like people were greening shots most times than not. If anything, it impacts the people who relied on "full whites" to make their shots. Plus, you can change your release point to match your shooting style. I like the change.

From what I understood, you have to green ALL your shots.

But what ends up happening is the shot chart you just posted above. Paint abuse. From everyone I've played, majority of points come from the paint cause it's so easy to score in the paint anyway.

Greens aren't as hard this year though.

I don't think greens are harder or easier than last year. What I'm discovering about myself is that I must have nailed a lot of "full whites" last year which kept me competitive for the most part.

To fix PNO they need to move classic teams to their own optional tier. It's crazy that they put so much effort into making a simulation, but don't give us a single online mode where we can play sim ball. Move the fantasy stuff to its own tier.

Bring back feedback system and lobbies. Never had to worry about cheese until those were removed.

Cheese been around since the beginning of videogame time. IMHO, lobbies are overrated. When we had lobbies, people were acting scared to play or clout chasing. I was so glad when they moved to blind matchmaking. I liked it even better when they had a working ELO matchmaking back in NBA 2K9.

Cheese has definitely been around and always will be, I'm just saying it was avoidable back then. It wasn't clout chasing, there wasn't any clout to be had. Pointless ladders like we have now is what causes clout chasing. So many people care more about moving up a ladder than just having a legit, sim game.

If someone's feedback was below 90%, yes I was absolutely afraid they would cheese me so I wouldn't accept their challenge. I just wanted a good game. Back then I played hundreds of games and can count on one hand the amount of times I had to play cheesers. I definitely can't say that anymore. I'd rather have hundreds of sim games than be on a ladder no one really cares about.

At the time, I avoided them by creating Superstar lobbies. Back then, everyone wanted to play on that weak Pro level. Every now and then, I would play a HOF level game. Great times.

Its the typical gamer rationalization that the system is somehow cheating them out of PERFECTION [emoji23] and a microcosm of how GREENS have really damaged the 2K psyche....

If a full bar is GREEN what appears to be a full bar is probably still lightly late or early. SIMPLE.

Meters are bad design decision in general for a game that relies on connection speed. To double down and require a perfect release is like....wow.

I remember tryhards/competitive players like that dude Agent00 mentioning that as a way to separate player skill in the myplayer section but I never thought in my wildest dreams they would actually implement such a ridiculous request for PNO.

PnR is an on-ball action. Not an off-ball action. Why on earth would anyone think running a PnR against the biggest demigod in the game (and against the best guard defender in the game) is a good idea? The one time he actually used Claxton to set an OFF-BALL screen, the Bucks user was clueless and left KD wide open because he wanted to sit on the lane line with Giannis.

One of the other reasons we cant better manipulate the PNR is because the floater needs a better control scheme (quick right stick flick towards the basket) its a major weapon guards use to get a shot over the big after they beat the help.

We all love the variety of outcomes we see from 2K, but users should still be able to easily trigger the floater animation at will--you see above that often Harden goes into a layup attempt....I like that the game sees an open lane as an opportunity to get closer to the rim but I want the floater for a reason (Giannis' freakish recovery)
