Yeah thinking I may skip over MyCareer this year.

I usually waste time with it and I'm one of the idiots that buys VC but thinking I need to sit out this year if they are making it even more dependent on microtransactions.

Honestly, it's pretty much the same as usual. I wouldn't say it's more reliant on microtransactions, but the same as before.

Besides skipping 2k20, I usually feel like I should've just did a Player Lock. But this year, I'm likely skipping 2k23 all together. I usually get it when it goes on sale, but don't feel like dealing with the bs that comes with the mode this year.

I’m hearing it doesn’t even get you Gym Rat this year….I think I’m going to bow out altogether on MC. Shame, because I’m enjoying the game in general.

I’m one of the few that seemed to enjoy the whole MC experience last year but it’s like they went out if their way accompany every improvement with a way to make it a slog.

There was literally a pre launch article that said “You can do everything, or nothing”

Cool, That’s essentially how 2K22 was. No problem.

Me hitting Play Game should NEVER be interrupted by a screen telling me I have to put on a hot dog hat.

On top of that, I’m stuck on a quest and can no longer advance. Second year in a row that this has happened.

This is me. Every year I start MC and every year, I quit about a couple months in. I just want to play ball. I don't care about all this extra ****. I have RPG's like the Witcher 3 if I want to play that.

yeah it's overdone

when we start mycareer give 3 choices

1 make a Jordon Kobe LeBron type that goes up to 99 ovr and in some cases 110 ovr but u have to play for atleast 18 seasons and reach hall of face icon

2 made a s kerr type that goes quicker but u are max out a 90 ovr
u can be done here after around 8-10 seasons
3 make a role player type that max at a 85 ovr
done after 8 years

1 make a Jordon Kobe LeBron type that goes up to 99 ovr and in some cases 110 ovr but u have to play for atleast 18 seasons and reach hall of face icon

2 made a s kerr type that goes quicker but u are max out a 90 ovr
u can be done here after around 8-10 seasons
3 make a role player type that max at a 85 ovr
done after 8 years

I don't even finish the one season, before I'm playing in the REC.

Gymrat now takes half off the workouts though.

Used to take 50 and its now 25.

So should be able to get it in 5 weeks.

Sadly did the work out before the quest got added lol

But, my secondary impression re: mc is... yea I notice there is some 2k inflation going on. I spent 50 this year because 20 can't get you a decent spec at all.

I just started the HORSE quest. Oh my god...

Was finally able to pass it after following this guys tips.

Really? Thats interesting, can you sim games? I haven't open my box yet since im finishing myC in 2k22.
