Scored 56 with McGrady and lost to the SuperSonics.

Gary Payton finished with 25/7/10 and Brent Barry with 24 and 5 steals.

Scott Skiles of all people lit me up for 34 in a 6 minutes quarter game.

Ja Morant absolutely torched me in myCareer. I can’t remember his line exactly but it was a lot.

It got so bad that when I had team takeover I had to switch off ball - this led to him picking my team apart and finding Dillon Brooks for the game winning three :/

Man he is SUCH a pain to deal with. We were 15-0 before I ran into him. Literally couldn’t stop him.

He is relentless. If I was slow to pick him up in the half court he was at the rim in two seconds or less. I love this on court cam but I lost him for a second here and it got my whole team dunked on haha.

After getting swept by the ‘83 Lakers (are 4 games were absolute blowouts) I offered a mega-trade to the Bulls who were picking 2nd in the draft. Basically Kelly Tripucka, one of my 1st round picks this year, and 2nd round picks for the next 3 years in exchange for their #2 overall pick. They took the deal and I draft Hakeem. I snagged Jerome Kersey with my other 1st rounder and now I’m looking for a return trip to the finals next year: PG Thomas, SG Vinny Johnson, SF Kersey, PF Laimbeer, C Olajuwon…. Only problem is the Sixers somehow ended up with 2 lottery picks and got MJ first overall and Otis Thorpe. Sixers will be hard to stop with Moses, Dr J, MJ, Thorpe, Mo Cheeks, etc… loving this game!!

THAT'S what I love about the My Era's stuff. It's the Ultimate "What If" NBA Universe. And you can keep going back to it, over, and over, and over....in the different eras and trying different scenarios and playing for years to see what you can do with different teams. Amazing depth and long term playability. Insane!!

Joe Dumars just cooked me and bad, along with Isiah Thomas! They are really bad boys, i got fouled with MJ on 2/3 drives.

Third year of Bird/Magic era rookie Ewing cooked my Bulls for 57 in his debut game. Problem for them was that MJ took that personal and put in 30 points in the 4th for 63 and the win. "What if" MJ owned the Knicks just like real life. Love this game.

I feel that in my soul lol. Did the same to me. Dumars was owning me on both sides. It seemed like every time MJ touched the ball he was grabbing the ball and locking me up for a jump ball. Drove me crazy lol.

I was playing a play now game the other day, trying to get some sliders that feel good for me. I was the Thunder playing Golden State. I opened up a 14-4 lead, started thinking it was too easy. Suddenly, Steph hits a 3. And another 3. And another. Long story short, dude was 8 of 9 from 3, 29 total points in the first quarter. He even hit a DEEP cocky pull-up on me. They ended the first quarter up 41 to 28.

In all my years of NBA 2K, I have never seen a CPU have a single player go off like that. It was insane.

MyCareer PG on Superstar mode Ja Morant killed me for like 56 points. I had 67 perimeter defense and mid 60's speed acceleration and it was just impossible to stop him. Constantly blowing by me and had to just double him.

Sort of the opposite, but 02 Pistons defense is no joke. First time all season I've been held under 80 points and on 37% from the field. They limited Jordan to 5-15 from the field, and Big Ben had me scared to attack the rim with Francis.

I ended up settling for a lot of low percentage jumpers instead.

On the other side of it, Rip was a midrange assassin going for 36. If he got any space he was firing, and they kept running him off screens all game. One in particular has the SF run off a screen, but then immediately after Rip runs off the same screen. That was getting him open looks all game.

Ja had me on skates. So I doubled and Bane and JJJ had some 3 point shooting practice. I decided to trade for the 1988 Pistons.
