Agreed. Played all day today and didn't even realize my game updated in rest mode overnight, until I saw people talking of a patch on this forum tonight. Game was exactly the same as yesterday.

Good to know. 2K always randomly changes. Must be some coding that makes different games play different. Even in 2K22, I’d play some games where it feels 2K21 easy. Then next game felt insanely tough defense wise.

As long as they don’t make core changes and nerfing then I’m good.

I tested the patch for at least 4 hours playing with different teams, restarted the console several times to see if it was a fluke and tried with internet on and off all sorts of things .It played very frantic arcadey with crazy amount of 3pt shoots,Off and Def awareness dumbed down etc. They were clearly testing waters.

As after todays roster/tuning update things were reverted back to what it was.Game speed is upped though i have no doubts about it. I'm not gonna take risks anymore as i took a backup of my console if **** goes sideways.

Probably licensing issues.. .maybe they got the rights for players, courts and uniforms just to be used for the specific feature and not elsewhere. I think it could be more expensive if they were also featured on "Play Now".

Haven't experienced any issues since Day 1 release as far as gameplay goes. Bugs- yes glitches - yes, gameplay adjustments... not me. I've seen fixes to things that used to lock up (still glitches to be fixed for sure) but as far as competitiveness from the CPU, nothing worth noting. I'll destroy in the Jordan Challenge or be destroyed same as MyEra or more often than not, 8 point game loss or win.

Still feels great as it did out of the box.

I thought I was crazy. But I noticed this too. One game the CPU would just do stupid ****. The next their offense was actually competent.

Nah, they don't have limited deals that only allow use of a player in certain areas other than the one they had with Barkley for 2K13 and 2K17 to be included in the Dream Team (Barkley was also in MyTeam in 2K17). As discussed earlier in the thread, you can actually use the default MyEras rosters in PlayNow. But it is through a debug feature that brings up that option rather than just incorporating them as part of the regular PlayNow options. Because of this, it's the custom MyEras rosters that you can't use in PlayNow.

And you can change the time in the Jordan Challenge to make it more of a game and strategy than just constantly grinding. I played on 6 min to unlock them all. Now I've bumped it to 8 to replay and enjoy them. If I'm struggling I'll up it more.

Shipped has sailed OJ. They patched that and other features out, you will now have to delete the game and reinstall it offline to access it.

It makes me happy to read this kind of comment.

Yes this feature "green=make" has ruined the game. It's either too easy or too hard. The worst part is that this year it is impossible to block the AI when it is green. I'm disappointed that I still have to put up with this shooting system and I'm disappointed with the total lack of gameplay fixes... myplayer, myplayer, myplayer... all the support is for this mode... call the game Myplayer and not NBA2k...

2k11 was better finished. Yes, of course, the AI and animations are not as good as in NBA2k23, but the features that the game offered worked very well. In 2k23, there are too many strange things. The controls to be reviewed.

As I wrote in my blog on this site, they need to stop making 2 games in one....

I'm still using it by playing the physical copy offline with no patches. A couple of things that I've noticed though:

                          1) When you use the debug feature, the commentary is geared towards the modern day teams that are playing in the game and not towards whatever era you choose. So, Fritello is nowhere to be found.

                          2) The ERA filter can't be toggled on/off. You're stuck with it.

So, while it's cool to be able to use it, it was clearly in there for testing purposes.
