Have the image rights issues for players like Regie Miller been resolved?
Or at least we'll have attributes that are close to the real thing, and we'll just have to change their names...

Really like the look of the NBA.com menu screens. It's a small thing but something I really appreciate.
      NCAA: Kentucky Wildcats
      MLB: Atlanta Braves
      NBA: San Antonio Spurs

The remedy for that is not a dedicated mode though, just a pop-up when making a new league:

Would you like to configure your MyNBA experience manually, or use the mode's built-in Lite preset?
        • Configure manually
        • Use MyNBA Lite preset

Selecting Lite would bring you into team select, then right into your new league with all the Lite stuff set to Automatic.

If they really went through trouble to make it bonafide mode (with its own distinct UI, etc.), it just feels like a waste of development time. If, on the other hand, loading into "MyNBA Lite" from the main menu literally just takes you into plain ol' MyNBA with a casual preset loaded, then I suppose it's good that they didn't waste the devs' time, but it'd also mean that this Courtside Report is kinda promoting a fake 'new' feature, which is always a bit annoying.

I can pretty much guarantee you that Charles Barkley and Reggie Miller aren't in the game. They would've been marketing the hell out of that if they were. Idk, maybe Reggie is and they make a big deal out of it when the Mamba Moments info drops, but I doubt it. Other things you can also always pencil in not showing up will be Madison Square Garden and TD Garden. For whatever reason, those will never be licensed in game.

This just highlights how lazy EA is with Madden. I'm just a 2K casual but I'm excited for 2K24. I was blown away by the addition of myera

The 2010-11 was a great season. Will be nostalgic of 2k11. MVP Rose, Heat big 3, the rise of OKC, and Dirks crazy playoff run. Would love to play a scenario where OKC keeps their big 3 together and become a dynasty. My only gripe is player appearances. Will we get a baby face Curry? Young KD with less facial hair? An updated Carmelo and CP3? Off the bat I see they have LeBron on the Heat with his Lakers cyberface. No receding hairline with the headband, inaccurate facial hair, and I’m afraid this will likely be the case for most players. It’s kills the immersion to feel like I’m really playing in that decade with these stars being younger. Also wish they’ve could’ve implemented baggier jerseys for the 00s and 10s. The tight Nike jerseys were not the fit when Adidas were making the jerseys. Another immersion killer imo. Iverson looks off in the game in part because the jerseys are skin tight and don’t reflect the baggier era of hoop

How was it last year, did we get the end of season roster or the start of season roster?

With this being the year of the Melo trade either options open up nice possibilities.

MyNBA is my favourite only mode (I am interested in), specially now with Eras, it's great to see that they are not forgetting it even thought it's not a mode from where we will spend any extra money...

Where have you seen the 2011 Heat LeBron player model in 2k24? I really hope it isn't just current Lakers LeBron player model again. Would hope for his model to be accurate since it's literally for his era.

How is it that there are multiple player models of other legends but LeBron has always had just 2. One current and one from 2007. There are more variations of Kareem and Jordan for example. I truly don't understand why they have never done different player models for LeBron.

Also, is there anything in their description that isn't already covered by just leaving a bunch of stuff on Automatic when you're starting your league?
You might be right, but making the mode more accessible is the only way they'll know if they can attract more fans to the mode.

I think it's a smart decision by 2k to make the game more accessible. The game and various modes can be intimidating for newcomers, younger gamers, or people that want a more casual experience. If it gets more people interested in MyNBA and the NBA side of things in general, it could result in 2k investing more time and resources into these modes.

I really wish they could provide us with a Miami Heat-era version of Bron because his 2007 model and his current model both aren't accurate for his look from 2010-14. Especially with an era specific to his Heat tenure, it would only make sense. I hope they at least added the NBA logo back to the headbands because even though it is a minor detail, it does make a difference. nba_g_james1pd_576.jpg
