You can't equip them on Grant Hill for whatever reason, they only show up on auto-gen players.

Ok,so I'm absolutely one those guys who has an issue with 2K sad shoes feature. Certain kicks not in the game or are but can't be utilized or only focus put into jordans,kobes &lebrons. It's stopped being about fun additions to the game to now being about marketing specific shoes. You watch, 2K25 will have garbage like sketchers &those random eyesore that are being passed off as kicks we want in the game.

It’s usually a licensing issue with the brand. No idea why they aren’t on Grant Hill, but the types of shoes and selection all have to do with what they get from the companies and how open they are in letting them use them across all modes/leagues.

You can assign the shoes using the player editor tool.
Also, don't know how much crossover there is between forums but I have worked out how to add an almost unlimited number of colorways of existing shoes and also how to assign patterns.

These shoes can then be assigned instead of using the custom shoe maker that won't colour all the sections (it only goes up to 24 when shoes can have up to 32 parts).

G.T. Cut 3 is now selectable in the Nike Menu

Jordan Why Not .6 is now selectable in the Jordan menu

Still no Scoot 1 x 2K selectable in the menu

No Taum 2 or Jordan 38 Low yet either

Scoot 1x2 is on mine and it has a weird flashing Puma Swoosh thing.
Still would like the Cut 3 Allstars and Tatum 2s, as well as getting some variety in the MyTeam shoes!

I just read that New Balance will be releasing the Kawhi 4 on April 25th. New Balance is really good at adding new shoes in 2K when they release a new model, so I would expect this to be added soon.

They won’t release for retail until almost August, so even if 2k update their shoes more regularly, we wouldn’t see them until then. Which at that point they would just add them to 2k25 anyway.

The Kawhi 4s are already in 24 but they haven't made them work properly! Similar to the WhyNot 6s, LBJ 21s, Booker 1s and others
I have got them to replace the Curry 1 Low that doesn't have a model in the game despite having an entry in the assignable shoe list:
