Here's what I'm talking about in case anyone isn't clear. Injury duration sliders on 100. No physio. Not sure if G Drive links work here :

Re: MyNBA: Can we please have normal Injury Recovery Times?
Yup and setting the injury duration slider to 100 at the creation of the mynba file seems to do nothing to help either. We might have to just create spreadsheets to track injuries and adjust them up by 2-3 times the original length once a new player gets injured. Everything about mynba since they started calling it that is just so much manual work for issues that should have been addressed or at least acknowledged by now. I'm under the impression they either don't know about these issues cause they have no real team testing this mode or just plain don't care.NBA 2K25 Roster: Real 2K Rosters - Modern Era

Re: MyNBA: Can we please have normal Injury Recovery Times?
Can anyone help me figure out how to assign players for physical rehabilitation in My NBA?
My SF has a 4-6 week hip injury, but other than putting him on the reserve space on the roster I don't see a way to rehab. There is a counter lower right on the team training page that says Injured:1 Rehab:0
I have looked on the individual/team training screen and the injury history screen, but I cannot find a setting...I also am not finding the training intensity setting by player from prior 2ks, so I am obviously missing something.Comment

Re: MyNBA: Can we please have normal Injury Recovery Times?
I'm pretty sure the "team" is just one person. A former community member they hired at a discount to then overstretch.
If I were to rank the worst case scenarios in order of worst to most acceptable it would be:
1. Unaware and are not interested in finding these issues
2. Aware but don't see these things as issues
3. Unaware that these issues even exist
4. Aware of these issues but haven't prioritized
5. Aware of these issues and are being addressed in next updateComment

Re: MyNBA: Can we please have normal Injury Recovery Times?
They heal automatically but you just need to set Injury Rehab and Body Work focused practices in the training schedule if you want people to return absurdly fast.
My hope is that devs are aware of these issues and just have them so far down the priority list that they haven't yet gotten to them.

Identifying & isolating the problem in the code, revising, testing, it's definitely not an overnight process.
It's not that it isn't a priority, it's just there are always 100 things that need addressing at any given time. They have to put things in a queue. Some are easier to tackle than others. Some end up taking years.
I can see this being time consuming to fix and low priority because its more of an annoyance rather than a critical game breaker.
If it's something you care deeply about I'd say make a support ticket bc that's generally where the devs get their queues from.NBA 2K25 Roster: Real 2K Rosters - Modern Era

I would just bump up the injury duration slider a few ticks if this problem really bothers you that much lolComment

Re: MyNBA: Can we please have normal Injury Recovery Times?
I would go with option 6: Aware but there is such a massive backlog that it's years from being fixed.

Good insight into how they work. I'll put in a ticket.
This is a worthless reply based on the discourse in this thread. Injury duration has been established as not functioning properly.Comment

Re: MyNBA: Can we please have normal Injury Recovery Times?

Re: MyNBA: Can we please have normal Injury Recovery Times?
Does mass editing the durability ratings help at all? Like say dropping all durability ratings by 30 points.Comment

Re: MyNBA: Can we please have normal Injury Recovery Times?
Bumping this. It sounds like we just need to add time to each injury as it happens? Hoping that’s the case and that we would only need to edit each injury once

Re: MyNBA: Can we please have normal Injury Recovery Times?
For example, if you start from the beginning of this season and set Ja Morant's suspension to be 120 days he still will probably be back in anywhere from 30-90 days. It kind of requires checking every few in game weeks.Comment

Re: MyNBA: Can we please have normal Injury Recovery Times?
Knee surgery I'd another one. You can set Lonzo and Adams to be out for the maximum 480 days and you still need to go back in and extend it to stop them coming back in the second half of the season.
Suspensions and personal reasons seem to work correctly now though.Comment
