I'm using trae young in mynba a lot. Can someone tell me how I can perform that teardrop layup shot he often does where he throws it really high?

Very true dirk. For me this 2k version particularly on pc is a classic in the making. I'm really enjoying playing it. Yeah there are a few nuances but this is a video game so will never be perfect but let's be honest it's not far off.

I had a 4-5 combo of AD and Vanderbilt on the floor against the Sixers, who had George and Embiid as their 4 and 5, and the AI matched Embiid onto AD as opposed to George

I think I noticed it was on the floor for the Steph and LeBron era as well. Unfortunately, it’s not for the Jordan era. Not only that, the Jordan era has the LeBron era logo on the scorers table.

Also, I noticed the crowd doesn’t wear their playoff shirts at least during LeBron Era and earlier.

The proplay stops and launches on the left stick are beautiful. I just mess around it freestyle all day lol.

It's crazy I haven't touched any of this stuff. I've been in post up life the last 9-10 days.

Have you found anything new? I haven't messed with any real post players yet, but Giannis has some super dope spins and his reverse pivot one leg fade

Like you said a lot of proplay animations. Luka has probably the most slowest but probably the most dangerous spin step back jumpers. It's also crazy easy to green. Any human would definitely go for it

"Little" known players like Sengun got his entire weird post up game.

He's also got his weird awkward one leg jumper

It doesn't get the attention it deseves but rebounding in 2k25 is amazing.

                      <iframe width="695" height="391" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/wFk8uWdikNo" title="NBA 2k25 Rebounding is awesome" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" allowfullscreen></iframe>

In the first clip, you can also see that Theis got a cut in the head after figthing for the board against Powell, the details in this game are insane.

Not sure if this is pre or post-patch, but it appears that you can finally use more than 13 players in a game. The 2 players in the "Reserve" slot still show up on the bench and can be used (as long as they are not injured). If there's more players than you have seats on the bench the extra players will sit on the baseline.

No way?! *** **** it's been years. I wonder what made them change that. I think the standing is a nice touch.

Yeah, I'm not sure if it was that way at launch but I just noticed it last night when I moved a player that was tired to Reserve to give him a night off but then noticed he was sitting on the baseline during the game in uniform and showed on the box score. I counted the total players on the box score and it was 14 (I did have one injured player that rightfully didn't show up).

Yes. It was a Curry era game so he was in full uniform (which I guess is technically inaccurate to the year?). He actually automatically got subbed in during garbage time so he ended up coming in the game anyway.

I tried a modern era Play Now game and the extra guys were in warmups sitting on the baseline.
