Yup.. it’s sad I gotta just run scrimmages now and freestyle.. I feel like they knew this was an issue but just put it out to make us wait for a patch that won’t come until December probably.... for my sanity, I have to stop buying these games and until I see community feedback..

There was a second patch on Oct 10 last year I believe, so that might be a realistic ETA

I agree, I honestly can't believe something like this gets past quality assurance, unless it only suddenly came up at the very last minute, after or right around the time the game went gold. But I don't know if I'm willing to give that much of a benefit of the doubt.

I'm pretty surprised it hasn't been fixed yet. It's kind of a big deal...

I'm right now 99% sure the issue is difficult and complex to fix unless they're preparing to deploy a huge patch to fix all other bugs and balance certain aspects of the game. If the issue was easy to fix a PC patch would have been already released. This means no patch this week. If PC gets a big patch next week it means at least another 4-5 days for Sony and MS to approve it for the consoles. Best case scenario right now is late September.
Although I love the gameplay, I expect at least an official statement tomorrow about a patch timeline. Do they think some of us dropped £70 to just practice moves in scrimmage for a month? I'm losing my patience gradually and this anti-consumer practices should be eventually punished.
Personally I want an official explanation how this huge issue passed QA. Wake up 2K, we're buying this game for 24 years now. Show some respect to your loyal offline customers.

Because I hear that 2k24 this tool didn't apply at all.

It worked perfectly in 2k23 (i skipped 2k24)

It worked in 2k24 for me in myNBA and Eras but was broken in WNBA modes. It's completely broken in myWNBA in 2k25 the same exact as it was last year. You can edit the timelines but it won't save. They get super borked after you leave the editor.

It's pretty frustrating. I love the WNBA modes but the timeline being broken 2 years in a row is pretty deflating.
