I've already posted since day 1 that the game is the best alongside 2k11 and 2k14 for me. I'm just stating some facts as per my view regarding the developing of the game. I'm not bashing the game and for sure I'm not boxing it. I'm just annoyed as an old gamer with things I know from experience could have been way better. Nothing less, nothing more.

Re: Rotation is bugged?
I'm going to test it in an hour or so when children go to bed. Should be better so we can start a MyNBA test run until the first big patch in October and while waiting for some essential rosters to be completed.Comment

Re: Rotation is bugged?
Just in HT of a a Warriors vs Clippers game on Xbox and it's way better than pre patch. Leonard dominating against me but he got tired and he was subbed, 15pts in 21mins. Harden took over afterwards and I'm down 54-49 in HT. Cpu has already used 9 players. All Star difficulty. I can see myself playing either All Star or Superstar difficulty this year. Everything feels so organic, running plays is a joy and for the first time since 2k11 I feel I have control of running an offense without using fancy dribbling. Still some animations kick in where I don't want them to but this in now the standard in modern gaming, need to adapt and accept it.
At least following the fundamentals of basketball is rewarding which is good.
Overall a decent patch, still a lot room of improvement is needed in subs rotation/fatigue/hot streaks logic.Comment

Re: Rotation is bugged?
I generally "play" as a GM in MyNBA and watch CPU v CPU games here and there to make roster/rotation decisions
Set up my rotation timeline for my team, and put coaching settings to rotation, and it appears to be working as intended the first game I watched. Now I just gotta figure out decent CPU vs CPU sliders!
That's literally how I play these days.
I am in process of making a roster designed specifically for clu v cpu season..
But it's not just the current roster.
I am adding some retired players to current teams. Ie: Jordan and pippen on the bulls, Ewing on the knicks etc... I am moving players back to the teams they were in their prime. (Lebron to cavs, lillard to blazers with Drexler etc.....
But I fully go under the hood and adjust tendencies, playbooks, ratings, etc... and test and adjust and test on and on till I feel I have got the cpu playing right with these teams.
Then I cpu v cpu every game in a season and jump if,/when it's close or i got time.
So if you want a full sim hardcore nba fan roster designed for cpu cpu, It's on its way.
I just hope rotation timeline tool works at some stage. I haven't tested my nba yet.
So if it works there, cool. I will sort it then.
But if not I fear I am wasting my time roster editing.Comment

Hah, that's almost one of the scenarios I do! Add every team's GOAT as a rookie to each team, and in case of current players that are a team's GOAT (LeBron for example) if they are 10 years or over in the league, they're removed and replaced with the rookie, if not, then it goes to another player (Like current Jokic stays, and English added to the Nuggets)Comment

Re: Rotation is bugged?
I just ran a full CPU vs. CPU game with ACE turned on for both teams (using Eccentric's sliders) in my custom MyNBA I'm running. Minutes were good, but rotations were a bit weird. Wade and Trae both played from the game start until like midway through the 2nd quarter with no rest, but the minutes turned out ok in the end.
It was a bit of a blowout and the Hawks kept their starters in the entire time going into the end of the game.
Can work with this though, whereas before it was a nightmare.Comment

Re: Rotation is bugged?
I'm getting plenty of CPU timeouts, is it an issue for you guys? What modes? I've only played Play Now but I get the CPU to call timeouts whenever I go on a bit of a run or if I stop them 3+ times in a row.Comment
