Re: Where is the shrink floor, wall up, and pressure shooters button?
A topic already exists that attempts to explain the numerous problems. In NBA2K25, things have evolved a bit, but overall the issue remains the same: it doesn’t work. Three menus, none of them complete, and all of them malfunctioning.
Below is an image showing that this existed in previous NBA2K games (and it worked well)
It’s in 25 current gen too. As mentioned. Works fine.

Re: Where is the shrink floor, wall up, and pressure shooters button?
Why are you saying that it works well? It doesn’t work at all, I just tried again.
It’s crazy that they removed such an important feature from the game. I find it unbelievable! The game is really losing quality, and we’re far from the time when gameplay and basketball fundamentals were the focus of development...Comment

I agree. As I said previously, this option exists in old gen which I am playing on. The more I hear about items being removed from current gen systems for Madden and now NB2K25, my days of playing video sports games will end when these games are current gen only. It doesn't seem worth the upgrade.Originally posted by jim416You are the 2k Police. :)Comment

Re: Where is the shrink floor, wall up, and pressure shooters button?
I'm gonna say it-- just saying "That's by design" isn't good customer support. That gives us no insight as to why such a major feature is missing from only one console, whether or not they intend to make an attempt to fix it, or anything.
We can infer that it was a literal game-breaking bug that forced them to remove it, but "That's by design" does noting to confirm or deny that. It's so vague when providing more detail would have been simple and easy.Comment

Old gen is a different version so we can't really compare it.Comment

Re: Where is the shrink floor, wall up, and pressure shooters button?
My understanding is they ran into major issues with the on-the-fly adjustments. Truth is that defensive settings are working better than ever in a NBA 2K game. Probably the engine struggles to apply these settings in real time? This is the most logical explanation I can come up with when Czar uses the word "by design". It means they had issues with coding.

I’m 99% sure that when they remove a feature it’s because it can’t function like it needs to or it creates issues elsewhere, not sure why anyone would thing anything else

Re: Where is the shrink floor, wall up, and pressure shooters button?
Because the trust between the company and the consumer is already broken due to other decisions "by design". The 2 purchase VC screens you're greeted to when you launch the game are also "by design". A different kind of design but unfortunately this isn't the way to build some trust.Comment

How do you mean, defensive settings are working better than ever? Even in 2k24 they were not good, and my opinion is, it's even worse now. Sorry, but i can't get the feeling, the game is mocking me with every adjustment i make while having timeouts. If i choose shrink the floor, they start to penetrate my paint as walking in the park; if i choose protect the perimeter, every one of them is slicing me with threes, even making incredible shoots. My hands up defense is pennyless against them. And i play on superstar level. So far, i'm forced to wait for proper patch or risk breaking the dualsense cause the game is half product for me.Comment
